dude is a great awper, but never dying is a bit of an overstatement. If/once he is adjusted to val, he'd probably be similar to wardell, bringing op whenever he can, and peeking everything with it.
He will be a top oper if he decides to swap over.
His flicks will stay the same, but he wont be able to get away with half the stuff he gets away with. Was watching him earlier, and he jsut repeeks the same shit, and doesn't get punished for it. dude was against plats and diamonds, and was just vibing. In high imm/rad, he'd get punished for those mistakes.
I think that's his point.
I'd still say he's t1 on a bad day on cs. Unlike val, the top10 isnt all of t1.
Even with his inconsistencies, he's still a top20 awper. Just he isn't good/consistent enough to be at the top, or at competitive form to go against teams like navi, or gambit.
tbh even then, Ethan was in a huge slump, just like nitro. Only player who swapped while not being completely mediocre, was Jamppi. Dude went to ence, did well, then was taken off primary awp for Allu, and then had to rifle. Even then, he was nothing special, but wasnt washed, or in a slump. If not for his ban, he'd probably still be on Ence right now.
Ethan was the top competing person who could stay in t1 out of all that moved tho.
It's not about your aim getting worse. His point is if youre an above average player in a below average region, you'd shine and look better.
it's the same philosophy of an attractive person looking more attractive when with someone less attractive.
also he didn't mention aim. I might be a bit confused, but unless someone edited a message, or I misread. Who mentioned peoples aim being worse at higher levels, or insinuated it?
past his prime, sure. Scream was also past his prime, having a constant falloff post 2016. Shaz was past his prime, not achieving much on cs. Hell, every cs player that moved, who was in the scene for more than 5 years, were past their prime. Only cs players who swapped are the 17-21yr olds, who haven't reached their prime yet.
Prime means nothing in val, as their prime in CS was different to Val. Hell, scream was dogshit on GL, and was nothing special for a solid 4 years until he retired. Yet currently he's regarded as one of the best riflers in the game right now.
Also KennyS prime was on Titan, where he'd carry every single game. His past few years hold nothing to his titan/envy days. 2014-2015 kennyS was a monster that nobody will ever beat. It's why he's still regarded as the best AWPer in cs history. Even after the awp nerf, and his cooling down. He still competed at t1 level, for 6 years. Post prime competing for 6 years. He'd be fine competing against anyone in this game. If he transitioned, he'd just need to adjust and would 1000% be more consistant that other opers at pro level.
tbh, nothing more tilting that watching a Jett go 5-19 on Haven, right after dropping 20 on omen the match before.
Inconsistencies are dogshit to watch as a viewer. It makes the top tier/level performers, look average.
i'd rather watch two teams playing at their peak, in a neck to neck fight.
ye. idk what people are smoking when they think you have to have 1 duellist and rest utility based. Like shit, sen went flawless on 2 duellist. literally walking through enemies, other than fnatic.
Saying teams will get eaten alive, is actually funny considering that's what eu said before iceland. Well, that turned out well.
The thing with Jamppi is, he's average with a rifle. Without an OP, he honestly isn't that great. Even with the op, he would either go 30-8, or 5-19. Despite liking the dude, I dont think he's good enough for his role. Omen seems to be a good fit for him right now. Jett, he has to avoid. He is far too inconsistent on her
Soulcas, right now he's on a good path. He's played other initiators before, and can surely adjust. Right now, he's the star player of the team next to scream. He was originally a sova/raze/skye player.
Kryptix, I agree give him some more time. However, if he cant come out of his slump, I feel he might get replaced by someone like NBK, or nivera. Wouldn't be surprised by either of those moves
idk tbh. Soulcas is doing really well on his role. Far better than what Jamppi is doing atm. Only weak side of this team, I think is Jamppi and Kryptix. jamppi is a nuts player, but far too inconsistant. Kryptix has been in a bad slump for the past 3 months.
Bro, that's the same shit all of EU said about sen before Iceland.
All everyone spoke about was how smart eu was, and how their utility usage was amazing. What happened? sen took a flawless event. All that mattered in the end is how the team played with their comp. 1 or 2 duellist doesn't mean shit.
oh yeah for sure. The way they work their rankings is odd. Wish they somehow manage to get hltvs formula, as theirs is pretty solid.
Think it might have to do with them losing their last 4 matches in a row, c9 winning their last few, and nrg being on a 7game ws.
VLR rankings are pretty dogshit, given tsm managed to hit 2nd from winning in a second qual.
Think he's salty that VK sent GL home.
Hopefully their current duellist duo improves at a good rate. It's still too early to tell who is better than who, given xeppa was on smokes and flex for the past few weeks.
just unfortunate for poiz, as he wasn't really playing bad, just wasn't playing amazing either.
Oh I've met the delisional TSM fans. 90% of them are high as fuck on copium. Outside of these forums which you either have;
crazy tsm fans
boosted ego sen fans
delusional scream fans
then you have the cNed best player fans
then the cringy mwzera fans, which I probably summoned by typing the first 3 letters of his name.
However anyone who has any resemblance of a functioning human, could tell TSM had 0 chance of winning berlin. They had 1 player who had to perform out of his mind every match, just for them to win. When he didn't, they looked like they belonged in nsg monthy.
Ironic thing is, I'm a tsm fan when it comes to NA, because Wardell was my introduction into how a Jett plays, and his flashing style last year. Just I'm not gonna pretend that tsm arent a bottom t1 team at best.
Sweet jesus the look of it made me feel sick lmao.
Think this is why all my friend consumes, is coffee, pea soup, and the effect of snus.
Leaf is for sure, but is Xeppa?
Leaf on duellist is a no brainer. Dude is insanely talented. Just felt like the duo of poiz on Jett, Leaf on reyna, was more powerful than the current duo of xeppa and Leaf.
However, it is far too early to tell if it was the right or wrong choice. Was just surprised by the adjustment of the roster, given the performance of the duo(leaf + poiz).
In terms of NA, they're up there. They put up good results against the best of the region, but always fall short at the last hurdle. With Floppy gone, they might have a decent chance at being top3. No idea why they benched poiz either, as he was performing well after he rejoined the roster. then again, no space for vanity, which I guess poiz bit the bullet.
Seeing their matches on recent times, they could be back on a comeup. Especially with Vanity taking over the smoke department.
Got a finnish dude I play val with. Says the only good thing in Finland is their coffee selection. Other than that, says the food is meh.
Also finland do have a bread brand called Jussipussi, so you guys at least have that.
TenZ is similar to Shroud on cs. Other than shroud winning something, they're both similar in the sense of being highlight players. They can pubstomp, and make a clip out of every round. However in pro play, they were average and not the star player everything thinks they are.
ngl, surprised Tenz is even this good in val, given he was cursed as fuck on cs with lans. Online he was good, lan he was dogshit on.
Who the fuck expected them to beat sen or even win berlin lmao. People overestimated them going to berlin as they were on a good streak. Nobody expected them to beat sen, or even win berlin.
What would be worth it to the team? Complain and refuse to play because it's not fair, or get a potential DQ from vct events? It's shitty what they have, but rather play on 60-70 ping for a seeding match, than a possibility of throwing everything away that they worked for.
It is a shame, and good that they're in the GF. Just unfortunate they as a team can't do anything about it, and have to play through it.
oh we know how nuts they are. EU people hyping up cned is just copium because he's the best oper in our region, by far. Like what NA was like with TenZ, EU is like that with cned. We haven't had someone as dominant on their role before, other than scream.
Asuna is still by far the best aggressive rifler I've seen. That shaky aim is nuts. Yay, he's just consistant on both oping and rifling. cNed is just seen as the saving grace of eu, with everyone putting a lot of hope into him as we didn't see him compete at iceland.
Dont even think it's him not touching val. It's him being at the bottom tier of t1 in cs, underperforming for a few months on ENCE. Guess liquid saw his potential in the future, given he's still young and has experience at a high level in cs. Dude has the skill, just his inconsistencies is dogshit.
it could also lead them to getting fined or potentially DQ'd from vct events for refusing to play.
It's unfortunate. They're in a shitty position with no real happy ending for them. Sucks, but unfortunately it's all they can do is play with 80ping.
think he changed his sentence midway, not removing "the"
bro, compare recent stats. Cned having nearly 300acs with more games on Jett played than mwzera. Tenz 7 games more than mwzera, and 0.05 acs less. That's also in the most competitive region.
Hell, look at the last game all 3 played. mwzera bottling it against vivo, going 53-57. Tenz last match against 100t in a bo5 he went 75-55. His last bo3 he went 34-16.
cNeds last bo3 he went 63-40 against Gambit.
Even then, brazil is by far not as competitive as EU or NA. Case in point the best brz team got 13 rounds against liquid, and sen. Sharks who were the 2nd best at the time, were sent home after taking 1 map the whole event.
At least when tenz was on c9, he was performing insane on the most competitive region in the game. He then went on to prove himself at iceland. Mwzera is not in the most competitive region, and is a standout player. He is insane. Better than tenz or cned, not by far. His oping isn't nearly as dominant as cNeds is either.
His team does let him down. he does deserve better than GLB can give him. however using ranked stats, and his stats in a weaker competitive region, is moronic. Ranked means nothing in this game. zero. zilch. Nada. So using that is just a was to cope with the fact that mwzera is not going to be at an international lan this year.
also in regards to stats against cned. he's barley above him with 2600 rounds less played than cNed. You can't compare the Jett at all. you can only compare him and Tenz, because of the use of different agents. Even then, the competition is each region, is bounds apart from eachother. Trying to believe that brz is a better region than eu/na based off vikings, a team who only ever beat x10, said so. Is just hilarious.
argue with stats? Why not argue with accomplishments? Tenz has won 2 masters, mwzera has won 0. cned won 1 masters, mwzera 0.
you're arguing with stats against random players, and dm is stupid to try to judge something off of.
Hell, look at his stats in the past 2 months. Dude is apparently this godsend, but played dogshit in playoffs.
No doubt mwzera is an insane player. however, you can't compare someone who hasn't won anything, with someone who has lost 3 competitive this whole year.
Paper stats mean nothing, especially when it's against randoms in pubs. It's like me playing cs and saying I got 500,000 kills on a stattrack ak that I got in a dm, over a pro player just because he doesn't have that. It's meaningless.
dw bro, we'll see Mwzera show how good he is at berlin. Oh wait...
I'm not sure if it's classed as a bug abuse. Same with the wallbang on Haven for A short, from site. Dont know if it's ever come out as a bug or exploit.
back when he was on EnVyUs, he was the best awper. Dude was similar to scream, wher ehe was amazing in 2016, but never regained that height of excellence that he showed. Of the mid 2010s, he was the best awper. Of all time, I'd say s1mple, or dev1ce takes that now. In the future, it will most likely be zywoo, and Jame who are classed as the best. Zywoo atm is the only player that can content s1mple. Well, last year zywoo, this year he's struggled.
also weirdly enough, g2 are performing better without kenny s. amanek awping has been amazing, and the riflers have stepped up.
Might be wrong, but isn't he only top10 team tsm has beat this whole year, only been GEN G who they beat twice, and v1 who they beat once? so 3 or so top 10 matches this whole year.
Even with the yoru pick, mixwell carried his weight on him by far. Doubt that'd have been the reason they lost bind. The pyth going -19 I'd say lost them over mixwell going +23 over 3 maps, whilst pyth is chilling at -19
