Yes pings do help and the new ping system def will lower the amount of teams that spray and pray the spike. My issue is more that the ping issue just feels like a bandaid/quick fix rather than addressing the real issue which is shit map design.

The maps are still an issue, high tier pros and players don't need the pings to spam because they know the maps enough and can spam by lining up to a wall or something.
