Ghost got into Val cause of franchising though. And there’s a quality t2 system in place so. We’ll see if they return
Omg
This a banger
1-1
Good prediction. 3rd map wasn’t a massacre at all
Yeaaahhhh EG more then likely in it.
Yeah but lol... That's a predicition... Nothing is factual. Point of the thread was franchise predicitions in ALL regions so, he made a call. Not a bad one seeing those orgs are loaded with sponsors and capital.
3 JP, 3 SEA, 2 KR, 1 SA & 1 AUS would be my predicition...
We still don't know the number of spots tbf but, I see your point. It's just good business to develop Korea... Same with China, America, Brazil, etc.
Korea is a large market in gaming so, it makes sense for Riot to get some of that marketshare. Im sure the game is waaaaaaay more popular in other Asian countries. It still makes sense to invest into the Korean scene heavily. The International LAN is even in Seoul, Korea for this very reason.
This is business people lol
Sure, when OW2 hits you'll see a surge of Korean players but, OW is pretty dead elsewhere and Valorant is definitely the bigger game internationally so... You'll see some talent in Korea stick around for it.
But it's still top 6 in Korea which regardless of OW or not is a statement onto itself
I never said viewership is blazing ahead lol... I stated the game is growing... Which it is?
Top 6 in pc bangs now. On top of Overwatch there. It’s growing greatly.
EDG dominance is sooner than expected. Muhahaha
Lol. Exactly
Lol. My man tripled up. Might adopt this method.
Where are they reselling tickets so, people who want to attend can buy them?
Must of been bots but yeah. GF sold out in like 3 mins lol.
EDG… Champions… Viva la China muthasuckas
Who casually plays CSGO lol. Great esport though.
LETS GO CHINAAAAAAAAAAAAA
LOUD gotta do something... We'll see
We're so good at football though.... LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!
I like CSGO as an esport though and didnt even shit on the game... Just showing the difference in support lol... NA is non-existent and there's nothing being done about fixing it.
Lol. Of course they did. I get my shit deleted all the time.
I'm joking... Yeah, I post on hltv, reddit, & vlr...
Maybe there will be some sort of academy league idk...
Well, it's tier 2 so the idea would be to invest accordingly to your market. So, players will be much cheaper, and the prize pools will be much smaller. The revenue mostly coming from investors and sponsors. The goal of course would be to reach International to get the stipend and access to International tournaments.
Now, on the org side it's there job to market the brand to sell merch, increase viewership, maybe host events (Knights) etc. And of course selling talent to T1 orgs.

Welcome back boys
That's too damn good... In-Game tournament mode that leads to Challenger... Challenger that leads to International... Like, LETS GOOOOO
China will probably go into Asia League once the game is released I assume. Idk... Weird situation there.
Definitely pear and no split… I would assume the chambernerf will be applied. No word on that.
3-0 boys. KRU with the ez road to victory.
Xbox Game Pass has console exclusives though... Not everything is available on the PC Game Pass and vice versa
No lol... Only CoD will be multiplatform. Starfield, Elder Scrolls, all Arkane games, all Obsidian games etc. Will be exclusive on MS. Sony buying Bungie for it to remain multiplatform was just a reaction to MS buying up everything.
Not all the titles are shared… At least from my experience. And also console gaming is a different experience then PC gaming. Game Pass is also on mobile devices as well.
Game Pass is light years a better service than anything PS has. And with MS buying a crap ton of studios & publishers it’s just a better purchase. Imo.
Xbox has Game Pass… Difference between Netflix & Blickbuster in terms of access to games.
Well… Here we go
There will be domestic leagues & an in-game tournament mode that is a "path to pro" according to Riot. We'll have to wait and see there plan.
12 Teams make more sense tbh... 3 JP, 3 KR, 4 SEA, 1 SA & 1 OCE
Take away a KR spot and add it to SEA if that helps. But, who knows.
Or succeed like Riot's other franchised game... League of Legends. I'm always confused why we compare Riot to Activision/Blizz.? Cause they're both fps's... Even though they are completely different type of shooters??? Abilities = Same game?
Idk. Let's look at Riot's track record and not a whole different company who has yet to succeed in developing an esport. Overwatch had a 25 million buy-in, & city-based (Idea where teams fly out to different cities) btw
