I read sayf at number one and was super excited for the list. I read #2 and #3 and I was no longer excited for the list.

Time For A Rant

Its trending on Twitter/X so I figured I'd talk about it and give my opinion. 1 day away from a new act and there isn't 10,000 immortals NA. Why is that? Its because of Ascendant.

Ascendant right now is the biggest cluster fuck ever. You have ascendants queueing against immo3/radiants, ascendants queueing against platinums, ascendants queueing their own rank and beyond. There is so many damn ascendants its not even funny. I'm currently Immo 2, but almost every game I queue is into Current Asc 2-3 players that were immo 2-3 last act. I don't really have an explanation to why there is so many damn ascendants, but there is. Every DM, swiftplay, any mode is filled with ascendants. I would say like 60% of my friends on val are ascendant and the skill gap is so wide it's not even funny. Last episode peak radiants to last episode peak platinum with a .9k. Everyone is in the damn green rank. It's elo hell

My recommendation is that riot increases the rr gained for ascendants queueing their rr and above by a significant chunk per game like 7-10 (ex: instead of 18 you would get 26), and lowers it for those playing in lobbies below their mmr by a similar chunk of 5-8. Basically, ascendant mmr rework. But that may not fit shit, so lmk what yall think riot should do or if it's just going to take time.

Ill put it this way as an immo 2 in val and faceit 9 in cs. If you have great aim, CS is much easier. If you are a game sense player with good util, Valorant is much easier. But thats my opinion

I play in Immo 2-3 lobbies. Doubt there is many smurfs that can consistently fucking shit on the top .5% of the game besides the top 100 radiant and even thats a stretch

Anyone else notice that theres a lot more of "suspicious" accounts recently? I'm talking level 45 reynas with 60% headshot rate that don't clear corners or miss a shot. I've seen a lot of Jett's entry into sight dashing in blindly and not worried about shit. I also see a lot of cheater accounts on tiktok and X. Maybe I am tweakin, IDK but it feels like Valorant has a problem rn to me. Still not nearly as bad as CS2

Champs 21 group B had a strong Sentinels that had won 2 masters prior to the event with that roster, A very strong Liquid team that probably wins the whole thing if they don't play like shit against acend, but got 3rd. And the biggest dark horse ever imo KRU that beat sentinels to make it to play offs and got 4th.

Its my Immortal rank up. We have a deadlock and a clove, I'm playing phoenix. Map is sunset. First round we win, second we lose because 3 of us ran down mid with no comms and gave the other team rifles. I comm in voice chat "lets try going A instead of rushing mid and I can get my ult from the orb". Legit nothing negative, but my two teamates respond with "stfu sh*tcan, i smurf your peak r****d" and then instantly turn off comms and run it down mid the whole game. Towards the end, they turn comms back on and legit start yapping about how if they were in their prime rn they would be radiant but they just don't care about the game anymore. Mind you their account levels were like 450+.

I just don't understand what makes a person be this way for absolutely no reason, besides I hurt their big ass ego. And why waste everyones time playing the game if you don't care anymore. This elo range from Asc 2 - Immortal 2 is almost impossible to solo queue out of because of toxic teammates.

They just run shit down and have insane mechanics in apac. Most teamwork in Na and it’s close to APAC. Na is also the region I play on the most. EU is full of toxic shitcans but that might be because I queued French servers.

By that theory yes, but dm is some what based on rank. As an immortal, I’ve never gotten any rank lower than plat in my DMs and almost every time it ranges from ascendant to radiant. It’s because DM has a slight base of rank

i feel like dm would be better if they just stole the warmup from cs comp warmup. 1v1, angles to swing, practice jiggling, and a fair fight. Choose whatever gun you want, and constantly play people rather than having to look around the map

I feel like for variety, riot should be constantly changing the map pool in competitive play to make it less repetitive. Have Fracture, Breeze, Icebox, Pearl, Split, Sunset, Lotus and Bind rotate out and in every act. Keep Ascent and Haven in always as they are the best 2 maps.

If you queue into deathmatch and get Abyss, leave immediately. Map will make you tilt when u get shot from behind or while your spawning in the open for the 11th time. Riot need to do something about the spawn points in the map or just remove the map from deathmatch. It's so shit.
