No one in Korea has gotten even close to beating DRX the entire year, aside from one playoff game if I remember correctly. Onslayers, Damwon etc. were actual garbage teams and you could see it by their gameplay, they never improved no matter what happened.

I can say the same about EMEA - 3 slots was too few for us, if we were to send 4th team everytime, we would improve much more, and 4th team would deliver great results.

I miss old VCT when losing once in open qualifier would mean absense of any games for 2-3 months

It was so fun watching brackets unfold and how popular teams who got eliminated in Bo1 would spend the rest 2 months doing absolutely nothing

posted about a year ago

No, you're one team region because you don't deserve any more slots

2nd best KR Onslayers lost to EDG lmfao

About EMEA - at that point of time, we had FPX, FNC, TL, M3C, G2, OGLU, Navi, Acend, all of whom are stronger than Onslayers or anyone else from APAC besides DRX/PRX/ZETA

Everyone knows Korea is 1 team region, meanwhile EMEA at that point of time had like 6 insane teams, out of whom only 3 could ever qualify to an international

posted about a year ago

I meant aside from DRX, obviously. Korea is trash as a region

posted about a year ago

What did any Korean teams do throughout the year? They all suck

Imagine losing to Japanese garbage lmao

None of those you listed are good players

Neither did Gen.G sign good players

posted about a year ago

Good player, there's nothing wrong with him

But starxo is not even 3rd best in KOI - sheydos, trexx and wolfen are insane

posted about a year ago

Every team in EMEA aside from community favoured big three (Navi, TL, FNC) is objectively worse than KOI

posted about a year ago

Still plenty of time to scrim, literally whole 40 days lmao

In CSGO, teams often have a week or two to train before another tournament

posted about a year ago

There's 6 teams in Tier S not just Fnatic, I mean who else would you put there, leaving aside EMEA hatred

54 and 54

Rate of baiting (clout factor) = 1, perfectly balanced

And what if you don't win Ascension, the probability of which is over 90% even for good VRL teams?

posted about a year ago

I'm pretty sure any team is much more likely to qualify to a prestige CSGO event as an underdog, than to win EMEA Ascension, when in both these cases the amount of popularity your team gets is about the same

CSGO offers guaranteed playtime in multiple events every month, many opportunities to qualify for various international tournaments to compete against the best, decent prize pools and decent viewership depending on how well your team performs...

Valorant offers nothing besides forever being stuck in your own league with lowest possible viewers, and of course half-year offseasons aka paying players for scrimming.

Nowhere. They better save money and go elsewhere. Imagine entering Valorant to play in one of the least popular Ascensions.

Damn what a waste for Apeks, 300 viewers no exposure tournament

Also imagine signing Magnum, the guys from org haven't seen his aiming skills or what

posted about a year ago

Why is Polaris so highly rated?
According to Liquipedia every team so far is orgless except Fokus, and all players on all rosters are kinda mid

No tournaments since August makes Valorant fans go aggressive and envious towards healthy CS scene

Or the one against Scream on Icebox in grand final LCQ, the round which stopped M3C from going to Champs

Pov: you figured out time zones for the first time in your life

Because Valorant is more entertaining for a casual viewer, and has times more streamers dedicated to it, especially those of NA

posted about a year ago

How many tournaments Valorant had since August?

posted about a year ago

Valorant is already dead, 30 team franchise with 6 months off-season is the best way to kill the game for everyone else

posted about a year ago

No it's not enough, if you win both pistols your chance to win the whole map is already like 70-80%, even if you're not that good on gun rounds. Winning a lucky clutch can also decide an outcome, even if the other team is overall more consistent.

At least CSGO requires 16 rounds to win so that kinda balances it out. 13 is a joke.

posted about a year ago

In Valorant it's more of a randomizer whoever wins an event, game is so random, only 13 rounds to win including pistols and spectres

posted about a year ago

So? Valorant esport scene is so garbage. Teams haven't played anything since August 🤣

Ah the old copium "DRX blocks the way to other KR teams"

The truth is that everyone is shit aside from DRX

posted about a year ago

Many teams have installed bias for Koreans, meanwhile there's a lot of same-skill or even better talent from other APAC countries

Like how bots Intro, Secret, Seoldam, Suggest and Bazzi are still any relevant, orgs make these guys relevant but they don't deserve it

posted about a year ago

They get as many slots as they deserve

If anything, 16 for Europe is too few, since Americas have been underperforming for 6

Tyloo never did anything significant in CSGO

Does Riot care more about China than Valve does? Chinese CS teams can't qualify anywhere because they're shit and not because they're being denied to participate by organizers.

How Valorant scene is growing when teams and players didn't do anything since August?

posted about a year ago

Wdym "doesn't care about Asia"

Asia have 2 slots for major, JamYoung could've easily won aussies and mongols, could've made a fortune from stickers, but he flopped in the end

posted about a year ago

All the players whom you listed have an absurd HS rate because they go for HS on purpose, even if it takes a lot of time for them to aim perfectly.

If you want to know the real HS Vandal gods, who kill fast and don't try to be cool for clips - ex-Gambit, ex-FPX guys. These aim naturally. Not artificially.

posted about a year ago

How Valorant organizations even put up with this? Is it okay for them? Especially those outside franchise?

posted about a year ago

Only on paper

In reality, it's absolutely pointless to predict anything in Valorant, the winner will still be the one you don't expect

posted about a year ago

It still baffles me how this esport is surviving while having 6 months offseason

posted about a year ago

Imagine predicting Ascension winner lmao, the most random thing in the most random esport

Last time ppl said it was gonna be one of Spanish giants to take VLR Finals (Giants, Heretics, KOI etc.), and it turned out to be fucking Fokus
