Swiss is the best format there ever was for esports
It's very fair and simple to understand - 3 wins you advance, 3 losses you're out

Riot not doing Swiss is a fucking joke, it would be W for teams (no "hard group" excuse) and W for viewers (way more exciting matches to watch)

Mad bettors probably
They place their life savings on certain teams' wins, and then blame these same teams for losing
Degenerates

It wasn't their first LAN lol, all Gambit players came from CSGO and they definitely participated in local russian LANs as teenagers, you know where the prize pool is like 500$ and there are a fuck ton of amateur teams...

Same for Guard guys except maybe for trent, he's only 17, he began competing when coronavirus broke out, obviously he didn't get to play in any LANs

Yes, there were a few high-grossing films that I really loved, but they remain minority

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty much every blockbuster out there

People love to watch movies where they're getting spoon-fed by directors, where you don't have to think or analyze anything because the film is just so corny, targeted at dumb audience and regular teenagers

Marvel is the best example, I mean how can any person above 100 iq watch that bs

There are so many insane sentinels in EMEA who can aim better than Magnum

This move makes perfect sense as Fnatic struggle with firepower a lot

posted about 2 years ago

I'm fairly confident that you're Aris
Because you talk the same way, you're european, you support G2, and you're obsessed with viewership

posted about 2 years ago

Nah bro our slot will go to Latam or something
Riot would rather promote weaker regions than care about ours

posted about 2 years ago

True sadly
Even if GMB guys had their visas ready for this LAN, they won't be able to renew for July or when 2nd Masters is

posted about 2 years ago

Aris I swear you're just sitting there and jerking off to valorant echarts statistics every day

posted about 2 years ago

It means they collect fewer circuit points (than they could), and we likely won't see them getting an invite to Champions, and instead have better teams qualify there (like FPX, G2 or Gambit)

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA remains the best region and you're a traitor
We didn't have 2 of the best teams + Fnatic didn't have russians

No excuses for Liquid but they shouldn't have been here to be honest

posted about 2 years ago

The reason NOBODY played csgo in Asia, is because you guys weren't good enough to earn slots in tournaments, you just gave up in the end and switched to other shooters

Unlike Riot, Valve doesn't do free giveaways to minor regions aka "Brazil 2, SEA 2, Latam 1, Japan 1...", Valve's slot distribution is strictly according to merit

posted about 2 years ago

FPX and Gambit would be top-3 in the tourney, had they participated
G2 will win the whole thing

posted about 2 years ago

Cope
Tyloo have great aimers (or at least had before), they were just as good as aimers in tier1 EU teams, but Tyloo always sucked due to poor coaching and lack of fundamentals
Other Asian teams would experience these problems too

posted about 2 years ago

Asia tried to play but they failed

Don't act like if you had massive playerbase in CS you would be even comparable to us

Liquid should've never went to Iceland in the first place, how tf Guild lost to these bots
Not to mention undeserved 4th seed above Gambit

posted about 2 years ago

Anything can happen in tier2 valorant

posted about 2 years ago

Gambit came higher in their group than Liquid
Gambit lost to G2 (26-18)
Liquid lost to G2 (26-8)

What makes you think Liquid is any better lol, they've just been blessed by the fact that FPX couldn't go

posted about 2 years ago

GMB is better than TL, it's a bit unlucky they got 5th-6th seed while Lulquid 4th

Although I doubt Gambit would be able to get to Iceland in time anyway

posted about 2 years ago

Liquid also won 5/6 pistols and still lost the series
That means they were worse BY FAR

posted about 2 years ago

G2 is not tied to any country, they're based in Berlin but they're all-around organization
EU rosters in CSGO, LoL, Val, R6...
NA rosters in RL, Apex, Halo...

posted about 2 years ago

+1 It's a mickey mouse LAN event, I wonder who's even watching

posted about 2 years ago

They will get through open quals

Because no matter how little SEN practice, individually (especially without bot zombs) SEN are one of the best in North America

The scene is getting started for Brazil, SEA, Korea, maybe even Japan bots, but not for Europe, in CIS in fact it's already over.

In CSGO, there's a tier1 tournament every 1-2 months, and there's a bunch of lower-tier tourneys literally every week, you can just sign whatever players you want and then play, play, play, nobody limits you from PLAYING OFFICIALS. Majors have fair slots allocation (EU - 16, as we should get), EPL / Cologne / Katowice tourneys also give opportunities to up and coming teams to show themselves... A lot of tournaments to participate in, including international tournaments, merit is rewarded more than anywhere else.

In Valorant... I mean I've already said everything... How many games did LDN UTD, Navi, Acend play per this split? 5? That's the answer for you. Gambit 8, Guild 7, cool... In CSGO they'd have 20-25 at least, all of them.

posted about 2 years ago

Are you joking?

Entering European Valorant doesn't make any sense at all, in fact if I were any organization not in VCT / Spain / France / DACH / Turkey, I'd just exit this fiesta

We have less slots to internationals than fucking South America and Asia, we have horrible formats where a team can play 5 matches per VCT and then nothing, we don't have any non-Riot-circuit tier1/2 tournaments so you're limited to a certain number of games per year

You're either stuck in your own VRL forever playing for 500-2k viewers max, or you somehow make it to VCT and then it's gonna be almost impossible to qualify for Masters/Champions as EMEA is despised by organizers in this game

Also don't even expect CIS to be in this game, it's done, CIS Valorant is done, I hope you understand it

posted about 2 years ago

What?
If you don't see clear and one-sided bias from Riot towards dogshit minor regions, and hatred towards well-established EMEA with massive fps history and massive playerbase - you're a fucking moron

posted about 2 years ago

There was no reason to keep EU roster, because Riot hates EU, Riot wants to promote other scenes at the cost of gigantic European merit, they prosper and we suffer, for example just look at slots allocation

posted about 2 years ago

Have fun while you can, minor regions

EMEA has never had so many problems like before this LAN - FPX, Gambit, Fnatic would destroy y'all have they played with normal circumstances

It will never repeat again

posted about 2 years ago

Same story every year

EU/NA fans are impressed and shocked by new dominant teams in their domestic regions, EU/NA fans believe this is finally their year to shine, EU/NA fans consume as much hopium as possible, but once international competition starts they realize they suck compared to Chinese and Koreans

It never changes, I think Riot makes only 2 international LoL tourneys every year on purpose, so that EU/NA fans remain blind + hopeful + biased, and don't leave the scene with tears after geting beaten by Asians

Trembolona you should create a twitter account, many people are stoked to read your takes including myself, ez 1000 followers within first 24 hours, I'm not even kidding

Time for me to stop following esports for a while

So much stress and disappointment, 5+ match points on Split yesterday, literally could've clinched Iceland spot so many times if only some player got a kill / didn't whiff, choked Fracture by throwing endless 1vX postplants, teams I like always lose in the most painful way and I don't know how to deal with it...

Have a good time here fellow vlr users🤞

posted about 2 years ago

He always aims like this, if his crosshair is not on enemy's head he just starts spraying randomly in order to hit a lucky shot

posted about 2 years ago

I agree Gambit choked Fracture

Though it's still dumb to compare won rounds to select "stronger" teams

posted about 2 years ago

All teams in Brazil except LOUD look so behind and unpolished, that I'm actually convinced KRU / LEV will both make it to Iceland

posted about 2 years ago

I mean it doesn't work like that when you compare the number of rounds won/lost and say which team is better

Gambit won both pistols on Bind, who knows maybe if they lost one of them Fnatic would bring it to 11-13 or 12-14 due to better economy in 2nd half

posted about 2 years ago

Bro rounds don't mean shit, this game is heavy momentum based

posted about 2 years ago

It's not funny

One person I knew died because of shelling, she was just 20, very smart mathematician / programmer and had bright future in IT industry

posted about 2 years ago

Whenever it's posplant 1vX and Gambit have man advantage, I always know that they're going to lose
And they lose
Nothing but disappointment

posted about 2 years ago

That's straight up RNG luck, he didn't even try to aim

posted about 2 years ago

Even if Fnatic qual they'll play without braveaf with otom, hence doing much worse than now

posted about 2 years ago

Finally another chad pop punk enjoyer

I like original version by SR-71 more tho

posted about 2 years ago

The only reason Fnatic won Guild last week is because Guild lost 5/6 pistols

Had they won a single pistol on last 2 maps, Guild would maintain better economy and would close it out 2-1

They're on the same level

posted about 2 years ago

This will happen with 90% of Nordics / East / CIS organizations unless they're paying their players $100 per month

I wish we had 2nd league consisting of the best non-VCT teams, it also feels like Excel / Tenstar / etc. are bored playing against unsigned Polaris mixes half of the time, they just stomp them and there is no competition

posted about 2 years ago

Polish Acend fan I see

I don't know why you hate my team, I'm just saying that game is very fast-paced and it's dumb to compare something that happened a month ago to what we have now

posted about 2 years ago

Nobody's mad, just explaining how game works

posted about 2 years ago

Do you even realize how momentum based and luck based Valorant is?

So many series could've had a completely different outcome if only someone didn't lose a pistol / forcebuy / clutch, CSGO is less random in this aspect because there you should win 16 rounds instead of only 13

Any EMEA top-5 team can beat any EMEA top-5 team, just because FPX did it once with Gambit (a month ago, on a different patch, with a different player) doesn't mean they're better than Gambit right now

posted about 2 years ago

"Destroyed"
Double overtimes to take the series, while Gambit took their map by a large margin
That was also with their IGL Ange1, and now they're weakened with baddyG

If only d3ffo didn't whiff several op shots on Icebox defence match point, you wouldn't be writing this, the match was really really close

posted about 2 years ago

Just because Fnatic / FPX were the best in groups on patch 4.03, doesn't mean they will be as good in playoffs on patch 4.04
