i stopped playing ranked entirely. i used to play unrated often but 9/10 games no one has a mic. and if they miraculously do have a mic, they almost never use it or only com to their buddies in discord. the game isnt fun for me anymore and i just use valorant as a way to talk to people now

even though id prefer valorant to win, CS is most likely going to prevail. 2024 will be a rough year for CS wile valve updates the game but 2025 will probably start boosting their playerbase after valve fixes most of the shit thats currently wrong with the game.
the biggest gripes i have with valorant are:

how fucking expensive skins are
how much big of a fucking scam radianite is
no replay system
lack of map editor/creation tools (lets all be honest, this shit is never going to happen)
since the dodging changes i can only dodge once a week unless i want a 3,5,10,20 minute ban
