You’re right I just assumed that the points would be the same for stage 1 and 2. I didn’t realize stage two was worth more points

Specifically 100 Thieves and The Guard. With the guard placing 5th in their group like 100t did in stage one, there is a very big possibility that 100t make it to masters 2. If 100t were to go out in 7th/8th like the guard they would then be tied with the guard for the second most circuit points(assuming optic is the other team to make masters 2). Which team would go to champs? Would there be a tie breaker?
