top team as if the best of the best or just top 5? G2 never really had a long stint where they were the #1 team in the world in cs as well, maybe like early 2023 as far as I can remember. I feel like G2's major history and 100Thieves international history is really similar

posted 2 weeks ago

are they basically like g2 in counter strike? big names, hella hype, farming groups, still choke whenever it matters? and they went through like 15 roster changes and the results either get worse or stay the same?

posted 2 weeks ago

May all the gods in this world bless Igor ''w0nderful'' Zhdanov and his entire bloodline with fortune, money and health for defeating this satanic institution

posted 1 month ago

I will not celebrate until I see 2-1 navi, these fucks pull comebacks out of their asses.

posted 1 month ago

kinda sucks tbf, I am always a fan of a wild awp appearing and going apeshit, that's why I am enjoying this furia vs falcons cinema

posted 1 month ago

sorry, not a big val fan, but imo whenever I watched val kangkang kinda felt the most like m0nesy.

posted 1 month ago

is the operator that bad?

posted 1 month ago

karrigan is a dinosaur, whenever he plays well it's that ''unc still got it meme'' boo is 28, how is he going 8-17?

posted 1 month ago

how do you even compare a rifler to an awper?

posted 1 month ago

I mean, just so that you understand, flamez plays the shittiest roles, plays with mp9/mac10 for like 30% of the time. He has 1.25 rating across the last 3 months. Other players in his role get 1.05 at best

posted 1 month ago

now that's dedication, I pray for you buddy

posted 1 month ago

the next step of growth, same as astralis in 2018-2019, next actually decent roster moves will happen and we will have some good teams to contest vitality

posted 1 month ago

true, frozen or senzu would be nice, seeing frozen-b1t-makazze as a rifle pack will be peak

posted 1 month ago

I am at the point where i am past the hate and I just respect their level and sit in shock. I am a s1mple and navi fanboy, yet seeing zywoo pop off against navi in the quarters made me just sit in horror as I witnessed him go 30 and fucking 7

posted 1 month ago

I mean 2 maps were really close, and donk didn't even show up, it could have been a close brawl. A lot of vitality's grand finals are bangers (IEM Melbourne 2025 was peak of CS2, blast rivals, Krakow).

posted 1 month ago

donk's default response is ''I want to kms'' when in a faceit PUG, no way he shows emotions when he is down in the shitter

posted 1 month ago

magixx is a bad IGL, zont1x and tn1r are inconsistent, sh1ro is by far the definition of A tier awper (monesy, zywoo are better, but he is better than molodoy, wonderful), donk is ill. + It's vitality for fuck's sake. They have been in a bad shape since -zweih -chopper +magixx +zont1x, so them even being here is a bit of a fluke

posted 1 month ago

welcome to crowd buffed furia + furia are actually quite decent on overpass when they are playing against vita

posted 1 month ago

I mean prolly 3-1, but vitality/furia are better than spirit

posted 1 month ago

holy shit the crowd is wild

posted 1 month ago

spirit 2-1, then lose to falcons 0-2

posted 1 month ago

I mean sure, but imo I wouldn't be surprised if faze were built up from full hard reset, maybe only twistzz staying
frozen is an amazing player who deserves a title contender, easily on the market in navi/g2/falcons/mouz
broky is too inconsistent, getting out awp'd by everyone
jcobbb is simply ass in my opinion, not ready for tier 1 what so ever
karrigan is just gone, ain't no way a team can win trophies with him on the server
finding an igl might be tough, like gizmy is good, but I think he will stay in monte, chr1zn is decent, but again, heroic are somewhat consistent. imo faze fucked themselves and their rebuild up by going on that budapest run

posted 2 months ago

so new core and that means VRS grind from 0. At this point just sell frozen to navi/falcons/g2

posted 2 months ago

Just a slow falloff with one fluke peak in Budapest ever since January 2025
ropz left and they signed elige (who is an aggressive player, didn't fit as a ropz replacement)
kicked broky for s1mple for the major in austin
reverted the change
kicked Elige in Riyadh because he didn't fit (also rumour has it frozen threatened to go to NaVi)
signed jcobbb from Betclic (karrigan's gf works there afaik)
Twistzz wanted out of liquid, they got him (swap deal with elige going to liquid) and did -rain (new direction apparently)
Amazingly fucked up at pro league and had to forfeit their first game because the invite was given to the roster of s1mple-frozen-rain-karrigan-elige, but they had 2/5 players of the core so rain had to fly from norway to stockholm
bullshitted themselves at top 2 in budapest (after almost being eliminated in stage 1)
top 32, top 12, top 14, top 14, top 16 at S tier events in 2026
oh, almost forgot, kicked NEO (coach) after cluj napoca and then proceeded to get top 16 at blast rotterdam

Just curious, I am a cs fan mostly, but I kinda follow val, for me personally vct has too little events. Like yeah, I get it, stress and all, but just 3 a year? A few questions I would love to ask and not to cause shit or 6 year old discussions like val or cs, just interest:

  1. Fans of vct teams who aren't fighting for masters/champs invitation, how do y'all remain interested? It can be really long until your team is playing
  2. do you watch other regions?
  3. Do you sometimes feel that there isn't enough vct?
  4. Opinion on tier 1/tier 2 system
  5. just what you would like to implement in vct

ukraine, gyokeres smoked us

posted 2 months ago

elite football country struggle, I am 18 and I didn't witness my country at the world cup ONCE. We got smoked by GYOKERES. in 2022 we lost to a golfer. Just when will this shit end bruh

posted 2 months ago

mongolz loaned him out

posted 2 months ago

navi is the most rumoured destination for frozen. since september 2025 there were rumours navi wanted to buy him instead of iM. now, with faze eliminated, they arise yet again. CS community basically sees this as: ''faze are shit => no reason for him to stay in faze => he goes to navi'' That's why #2 brings up navi

posted 2 months ago

pretty sure senzu was the least productive AWPer (and 2nd awpers included) in 2025. Just keep wonderful, he is good.

posted 2 months ago

not making masters in val it's one thing, 3 slots per region. EU had SEVENTEEN slots, and faze are so bad they are 25th in EU Now.

posted 2 months ago

fnatic after paris 2025 retains the entire roster but are so shit in kickoff and stage 1 riot banishes them to tier 2 for stage 2

posted 2 months ago

absolutely not
falcons have 3 superstars who have huge egos and are not tilt proof
navi have iM and wonderful who are the most contrasting pros on the scene
faze shot themselves in the foot, ate cynade, swallowed nails and fell off a bridge.
spirit got magixx who is not an IGL in game leading, kept zont1x who is a bum.
furia have fallen who is an unc, yekindar who is inconsistent and molodoy who simply lacks experience
aurora have the best roster they can have, but they are nerfed by the fact xantares is literally breaking down physically.
MOUZ simply lack someone with ego or experience to lead them

posted 2 months ago

fair point, but other managements can and will adapt, they are not morons.

posted 2 months ago
  1. because apex has been a professional for like 17 years, it can be gradual
  2. because sooner or later you become tired of events and travel and simply want to spend time with your families?
  3. olof's health problems weren't always there, they just happened.

The thing is, you just try to be all doom and gloom saying cs will die because of vitality's era, but sports can't really be predicted. I simply admire and respect vitality for what they do, but sooner or later this will end. The strongest team of all time ended their run at 3 majors in a row, there is a chance vitality match them, outdo them or fall even in cologne. I am not a fan of vitality, I am a fan of navi, but I think this domination is good because it shows the entire scene that good management >>> money

posted 2 months ago

#4, point about FURIA is there, this roster is capable of this https://www.hltv.org/matches/2387414/vitality-vs-furia-iem-chengdu-2025 https://www.hltv.org/matches/2387545/furia-vs-vitality-blast-rivals-2025-season-2
if one game dictates the level of the team, then okay, I expect vitality's era to end to legacy or someone like this

posted 2 months ago
  1. How can you be so sure? he is 33 for fuck's sake, he can just get bored, maybe he falls off individually. wins the 5th major in cologne 2026 and just calls it quits?
  2. mezzi has a baby daughter afaik, he can just become a family man, he won everything, why bother?
  3. how can you be so sure? fnatic ended because of health problems, astralis - same, a literal war happened to stop the navi era, fuck knows what can happen?
No one expected this vitality to dominate when they signed ropz, because quite frankly ropz fell off in 2024, he was by all statistics worse than spinx, but then they became this team. How can you logically predict their falloff?
posted 2 months ago

Because FURIA won the two events right before the major where vitality were also present? Literally smacked vitality's ass 3-0 in Chengdu? 2-1'd them in Hong Kong? mongolz were never a favourite to win the major, in budapest it was spirit, falcons, furia, vitality.
falcons and spirit matched against each other so it was -1 for vitality to face.
furia got hard counter stratted by navi on the other end of the bracket. Legit just turned off molodoy on train, just didn't allow him to play.
spirit faced a fucking historical meltdown
Vitality aren't the best because they are invincible. They are the best because they pound on their opponent's misfortunes or force them. This happened so many times I am too lazy to count them, but just to name a few, IEM Melbourne 2025 (falcons 12-6 lead on map 5), FURIA choking to NaVi in Budapest, Spirit handing vitality mirage on the silver platter in budapest 2025

posted 2 months ago

nah, there are some people on hltv who share this take. mostly new fans who like the concept of an ''undefeated team''. what if apex just retires because he doesn't feel the joy of winning. or mezzi focuses on his family? simply yet, what if zywoo enters s1mple 2023 or device 2021 phase and just becomes worse? Not 1.4 rating, 1.2?

posted 2 months ago

same was said about astralis in 2018-2019, navi in 2021, sk in 2016, fnatic in 2015. they are not immortal, second half of 2025 proves it. spirit won against them, g2 won against them, furia, navi came really close in budapest groups, falcons won against them. And the viewership of CS is good, 1.5 mil for the entirety of budapest major playoffs, (vct champs only had 1.5 mil on nrg vs fnatic grand final). Yeah I know it's without asia, but both games are in a good state. if navi get frozen they have a chance. a possible kyousuke-donk-monesy trio with a good supporting cast wins against them. Vitality are good, but the history of CS states there is no perfect team

posted 2 months ago

curious to hear your opinion

posted 2 months ago

they didn't evel sell him, he left on a free https://www.hltv.org/news/40646/faze-release-ropz

posted 2 months ago

I mean they deserve it
NaVi keep iM when he is just not it
FaZe is just frozen and friends
MOUZ are auraless bums
Falcons signing one more superstar every half a year just to fail
PARIVISON is jame and dastan with 4 inexperienced kids
Spirit have donk and sh1ro, but the other 3 are bums
Furia are either blazing hot or siberia tundra level of cold
G2 have no superstar
Liquid have ultimate
Meanwhile vitality got mezzi for 600k, flamez for free, ropz for free, zywoo for like 100k, apex pretty much for free.

posted 2 months ago

ah yeah, true, but I just noticed. I am just happy CS has good viewership even at a mickey mouse proleague

posted 3 months ago

it is, that's my only question. If it was lower than pro league, then it would be a disaster

posted 3 months ago

define beaiting. val is at 500-600k. pro league is like 300k rn I believe. CS does have more viewers rn (krakow and cluj napoca), but comparing pro league and masters doesn't prove anything

posted 3 months ago

I mean 650k peak on escharts is kinda low for val, no?

posted 3 months ago

the comparison is just stupid, pro league is literally an event where casters are probably drunk

posted 3 months ago

not outnumbering, at least I think, but val's viewership is kinda mid given it's top 4, and pro league is better than it was before that

posted 3 months ago

I feel like winning 13-9 without a pistol round win is a great performance, ngl
