with TenZ retiring, I see quite a lot of people mentioning how he is the goat of the game, and I can see where they are coming from, but he is not the goat, he is the face of the game. And the candidates for goats, names like chronicle or derke or aspas aren't nearly as close to domination as s1mples, devices, fakers, topsons, anas of other gaming titles. It is not a bad thing, but imo it is somewhat lacking in narratives, there is no main character in the scene, the eye of the storm. And it will probably take years for one to emerge

the fanbase is big enough, there are orgs there, I personally see several problems
A) Who goes to the now formed VCT NA? 100t, c9, sen, eg, nrg, g2 are all there, problem is that their financial situations can change in months, and I don't see many orgs joining in, or the ones which join are doomed to be the bottom feeders to the big dogs
B) Why would riot go for extra expenses on hosting the entire 5th region? If riot deemed it profitable, I am sure the VCT Calendar would have more than 3 events per year
