I mean that's the case with most CS pros who left for valorant. Either not good enough to get the money in cs or too big of a bag in valorant

posted 11 months ago

it is not a complete life changer, just when you get to 144 or 240 hz you just cannot go back to 60

posted 11 months ago

liked the sacy speech, still felt like a huge meme knowing he will then go like 4-17

tier 1 - your majors, Cologne, Katowice, has all of tier 1 teams.
Tier 2 - no tier 1 teams
tier 1.5 - a couple of tier 1 teams mixed in with the best of tier 2, giving you this weird state of the event being somewhat relevant but at the same time being a mickey mouse cup.

posted 11 months ago

I mean I still have cs over valorant, but I enjoy valo as well. RN cs is on tier 1 break, you only got tier 1.5 events but soon it will go with tier 1 event streak before a major in december

ex-teammate of chet in stanislaw, one of the only american talents in JBa, 2 imports from eu in susp and phzy and a south african sonic. IMO it's a solid team who, with tier 1 practice, will be a great representative for NA but I think they need a coach input

posted 11 months ago

ascension, and after that other games. Kinda the reason why I am here, found Champs directly during Cologne Play-In ( tier 2 stage) and got interested in valo

posted 11 months ago

Probably back to CS, a team like Wildcard could really do with a coach like him

posted 11 months ago

the NA teams. even if the talent pool is reset, NA talent get the opportunity to scrim vs tier 1, SA won't have that

posted 11 months ago

Anyone had these games, has this games and will have such games. Those denying this are either delusional, liars or both.

Yet Real still boasts one of the best benches in the world. brahim, guller, endrick, modric, alaba, lunin, are all great players. They have Carlo Ancelotti who is probably the best player manager ever, bro knew how to talk to everyone, from Zlatan and Ronaldo to James and Marcelo.
And losing players is also normal. They lost Ozil and Di Maria in 2014. You know what happened after that? 3 UCLs in 4 years

posted 11 months ago

Worst trend ever, ruined football logos (Juventus as an example). The only esport simplification I liked were Fnatic, Gambit, Navi

posted 11 months ago

I liked their 2018 Logo

posted 11 months ago

I dislike Gentle Mates logo, looks like a fucking NFS Most Wanted spray on Volkswagen Golf

posted 11 months ago

I think it's a promising sight, Sinners have wiped the floor with everyone at those quals, and Eclot with Unity have got a solid 3-1 (with their only losses coming in a bo1 stage). I generally like where cs is heading, Portugal is on the rise, LATAM, Brazil, Mongolia, Czech, hopefully NA, Sweden, France, China to follow

posted 11 months ago

Oskar is the face of the scene, bro is like 32 yet shat on the entire RMR closed qual. And it all happened out of nowhere for everyone, just 3 Czech teams all thru. then you compare it to only one polish, two ukrainian and 4 russian and they seem like a huge outlier

posted 11 months ago

I honestly feel like gege forced himself into the sukuna gauntlet by killing off all the evil except for ken+suk+uraume.

posted 11 months ago

they basically all got washed, now
Snax is IGLing in G2 and TaZ is his coach
papito is a streamer
byali is retired/stremaing
neo is coach on faze
newer generation of players had a flash in the pan performance in Katowice 2024 (with gla1ve on ence), they have got some talent spread out tho, like ultimate making liquid a stronger team, siuhy leading young mouz to new heights, mhl being part of Talon in Oceania. Probably the other scene I think will pop is the czech scene, 3 fucking teams on the rmr is insane for such a small nation

posted 11 months ago

true, but then you get places like Cologne or Katowice where german and polish teams are utter trash yet the fans still turn up.

posted 11 months ago

trick question, fnatic won the two events before that and lost two games in a row in the upper and lower brackets so that makes them the biggest choker

posted 11 months ago

all good brah

posted 11 months ago

there are no stronger words you have ever uttered in your life than those which you meant when making this bet.

posted 11 months ago

mickey mouse event by all standards, wait until Bangkok buddy

posted 11 months ago

probably her and Kashimo are two characters who got completely shat on by the story. Both were hyped to be special grade level, yet both got shat on by a direct counter to them. Also speaking of wasted potential, you are telling me Kashimo, who is probably the fastest in the verse couldn't dodge the slash yet fucking Kusakabe blocked it with a sword and Miguel danced around that shit?

posted 11 months ago

I mean it's quite underwhelming, like seeing 2 guys immediately sending sucker punches in a bar before a drunken ''fuck you'' ''no, fuck YOU'' exchange

posted 11 months ago

it seems so underwhelming... Higuruma, Kusakabe, YutaJo still off-screen btw.
YET THEY SHOW THIS BITCH ASS WITCH GIRL, FUCK YOU GAYGAY

posted 11 months ago

I dunno what the fuck navi are doing in valorant, NGL

posted 11 months ago

entire story went to shit with best girl Yuki dying, she was essential to the plot

posted 11 months ago

uraume thanos snapped. Yuta left lying on a ground like a hobo. Domain Expansion not explained, Heian Era not shown. The only W is Sukuna looking like a slime but other than that it seems like an L

posted 11 months ago

both has been eliminated in groups.
both shat themselves
both haven't made a single international event since.

posted 11 months ago

all it took was one sentence to resort to stfu? damn bro u soft

brazilian crowd is good as long as brazil is winning

posted 11 months ago

why is he a fucking branch now

posted 11 months ago

it's more about TtK or time to kill. If you think it's faster to tap a head than spray, then go for taps. I have seen some pros just intentionally going for body shots

posted 11 months ago

I don't think val can pull it off consistently, probably older esports like LoL and CS will be the first

posted 11 months ago

language, for example. esports is just too far away rn, and also holding more IRL events is just not really viable in big countries like USA imo. Sen fans are all over the world, I really doubt they have a set popularity point. take navi for example, they are an org with fans all over the world, but most of them are in Ukraine, so it's logical for navi to pin themselves down in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, its most populated town. same for vitality and karmine corp in france. That's where I would change the subject a bit, some orgs have a bit more flavour simply to being one of a kind in its region. Navi is the only Ukrainian org out there, karmine corp and vitality usually start off with french rosters and then change depending on success. most NA orgs feel the same for me. like alter the players here and there and strip their jerseys away and they feel the same.

posted 11 months ago

what common ground do they have?

posted 11 months ago

cuz all of them are in LA, except for EG who are in Seattle. It is not Boston vs Philly rivalry, it is not Houston vs Dallas or Chicago vs Detroit. It's just one LA team vs another LA team

posted 11 months ago

thing is, esports cannot be as centralized as real sports. BY default, all football clubs display their country, their town, their district, their political views, their heritage, because the stadium and the club being there all the time. That's why football can raise topics of politics, racism, religion so often, it is a part of the sport. There is no such thing in sports, the top of it is that they show the nationality. And even then, we have a ukrainian org in navi being displayed by a ukrainian, 2 russians, 1 latvian and 1 swede, a dutch org in liquid having no dutch players, a french karmine corp and french vitality with 0 combined frenchmen, and SPANISH-GERMAN G2 fielding a North American roster.

posted 11 months ago

problem is, where do you pin down HQs for all the American teams? are they all in LA? C9 and 100T are in LA, so are sentinels, so are NRG. EG are the only NA Org in Seattle. Orgs like Leviatan, KRU, Loud, Mibr, Furia have another problem, their HQs and home spots are easily seen and spotted, however them being in brazil or chile within the HQ makes 0 sense for their esports success, they need to be out there in LA because that's where their opposition is

posted 11 months ago

oh shit, I like it, like pilots or Anti Air Turrets displaying how many opponents they have taken down

posted 11 months ago

THERE WE LAND

posted 11 months ago

I mean he knows Johnta, who is the head coach of fennel in japan, they worked together in CS. probably not a good candidate, but he might be the best option if angel doesn't want to coach. Yet I still think he can pull it off

posted 11 months ago

might be a crazy theory, what about navi setting angel to coach and splash the cash on a strong 5th?

posted 11 months ago

I feel like the roles in this team went flying straight after g2 on abyss

posted 11 months ago

navi, as an org, said that the only thing stopping them from building russian speaking rosters and russian teams is
A) Transactions with a russian org (not a problem in valorant, given that there is no russian org)
B) Players who pay taxes and represent russia
so in order for navi to get a russian speaking roster they would only need cloud (or any other russian they sign) to ask all the sources where the nationaltiy is displayed to present themselves as neutral athletes (easy part) and move out of russia (hard for some).

posted 11 months ago

well zyppan is swedish so I really doubt he speaks russian, unless he picked it up from angel/shao/suygetsu

posted 11 months ago

I guessed he would, given Derke has the most slavic name out of non-slavic

posted 11 months ago

with cloud yes.

posted 11 months ago

well he has played with russians before, his cs faceit account features ukrainians and russians and kazakhs, his name and surname are of russian descent so I think he is russian speaking
