np, faceit changed a lot after cs2 got released, elo abuse got way harder now. Fun fact, current complexity AWPer, hallzerk, has the longest recorded win streak on FACEIT with 136 games. Problem is that he and his buds were abusing the high elo faceit by sweating 2-3 maps and getting matched against lower elo. They would also dodge anyone who could beat them in skill just to farm the win streak
basically when you get way above the competition (around 5k elo) you almost always play for +12/+15 and not +25, and you lose -35 or -38. Basically you need to win 3 after 1 loss just to make it all back. Going from 5k to 7k would need around a 90% win rate and +133 wins. Everyone above 4k from the last season gets dropped to around 3.3k and then you need to get 3.7k in 6 months with that massive elo drop after a certain threshold.
or maybe it's because val first offered a bigger salary than he could have in CS, switched, was great for 4 years, then got dropped by giantX and CS market, which is now fully open circuit (meaning no franchising at all) seems a more viable career?
level 10 just starts at 2000 elo, and I think stats from CS GO claim that there is around 2% of lvl 10 out there
What is named radiant in valorant is just top 1000 rank on Faceit. Whenever you get a top 1000 spot in the elo ladder, you get a banner on your faceit profile. afaik highest elo was 5k by donk in cs2, 7k by monesy on csgo, but Faceit has only recently started resetting elo every 6 months so there is no point in actually getting 7k elo or higher

CS doesn't have a set calendar like RIot do cuz there are more Tournament ORganizers, it's not just one, there are IEM events, blast events, PGL events and other TOs as well. But basically there are 2 seasons in a year, each set in between the major (so January to June and July to December) There are no kick-offs or stages, just an endless spree of events. The most Prestigous ones for next year are IEM Katowice Febraury (sort of like Masters 1), Cologne (masters 2) and 2 Majors, as well as the highest paying events for next year.
