Honestly, you can't base it of this game given that he's just entered a system and done what he's supposed to, however he was much better than expected

KDB, Neymar at PSG rest he clears quite easily, especially given the decrease in tactical systems that use the no10 role

Today, especially 100t v NRG(because they have chosen all the new maps), there seem to only be good matches, but on the other hand the fact that it is only new maps makes it possible to be only bs val

never read that and love greek mythology, thanks for the rec. On the other hand if people are into dystopian fiction I will never not recommend the lord of the flies

hey, what about comp predictions, i haven't watched t1 much this year unfortunately so have no idea about potential comps for them...like could meteor play viper or is he only senti etc

posted 2 weeks ago

idk if im just overating the kc ewc performance but marteen is imo better than xeus(especially after today)

I personally prefer Kaajak more for being fresh blood and likely bringing new ideas to the table, but derke was inarguably a top 5 duelist for multiple years running and that is something we haven't seen Kaajak do yet, even if he is in my top 5 duelists this year.

fr, but for a perma ban it didn't look that bad

secret weapon with no main plan except alfa go kill

But there is map advantage and because of that I feel like prx are the favorites, like pearl and sunset are just instant losses for fnc, and split, lotus and icebox aren't heavy fnc advantages, especially lotus

posted 1 month ago

dont wolves get ban advantage?

posted 1 month ago

FNC 3-2, because pearl and sunset.

posted 1 month ago

For wol vs prx i think so but idk about g2 vs fnc, for me it seems quite straight forward

g2 ban sunset, fnc ban pearl, g2 pick haven, fnc pick split, g2 ban ascent, fnc ban lotus, icebox remains

to me unless g2 dont ban sunset, its probably haven split icebox or haven split lotus

posted 1 month ago

I think ascent is a decent shout for prx to ban, but their icebox was completely dismantled by geng and i dont think they should keep it in. Lotus being arguably prxs best map and not wolves best seems like just a decent ban, they could ban sunset, but it was decent, or they could ban split to take a good map away from prx, but they are good on split too. It just seems to be a ban where there isn't something obvious they should or shouldnt do

posted 1 month ago

imo both teams should bet on not banning haven

if prx ban first

prx ban icebox, wolves ban lotus, prx pick split, wolves pick pearl, prx ban haven, wolves ban sunset, ascent decider

if wolves ban first

wol ban lotus, prx ban icebox, wolves pick pearl, prx pick split, wolves ban sunset, prx ban haven, ascent decider

this is of course both teams gambling on neither team wanting to ban haven and where it ends up quite similar because wolves have a slightly advantageous map pool against prx(icebox, pearl and split are 3 very decent maps for wolves, and slightly gimmicky comps on icebox and pearl means its easier to anti)

otherwise

if prx ban first

prx ban haven, wol ban lotus, prx pick split, wol pick pearl, prx ban icebox, wol ban sunset, ascent decider

if wol ban first

wol ban haven, prx ban icebox, wol pick pearl, prx pick split, wol ban lotus, prx ban ascent, sunset remains

I dont know, sova for tejo is just a straight switch that won't change much in the strats

this predict is looking better and better, Sen have only played icebox once, and they lost 13-9 to BLG, and it wasn't pretty

posted 1 month ago

even though this was a fnatic loss, lets not take away from the fact that fnc won 0 pistols, lost both bonuses and still made it 13-9, alfa looking this good is scary and chron and kaajak looked decent. Sunset is a historically bad fnc map and sen have had a decent sunset throughout toronto. I'm not saying that fnc are going to win 100%, but theyve shown a decent ascent, and a decent icebox...

posted 1 month ago

FNC are just terrible on sunset, and Sen are quite good on it, maybe the 2nd best team on it in the tournament, however, because they lost the pistol, it seems quite ok...

posted 1 month ago

i dont either, but they do talk a lot of trash and that is also a form of imposing yourself

I was wondering if there was any correlation between standing up during maps and winning. (playoffs only)

Sen vs XLG - Sen famously are a team who like to trashtalk and stand up, exemplified particularly by Zellsis and Narrate, XLG on the other hand dont do that much

PRX vs G2 - I'm not certain if G2 stand up much(i dont think so) but forsaken was getting up every round they won.

Wolves vs RRQ - Wolves have exemplified this hypothesis, Siufat and Lysoar stand up almost every round they win, even against ecos, RRQ dont stand up even if they 1v3.

GenG vs FNC - 1st outlier, FNC stand up a lot(boaster and crashies) however GenG do trashtalk back through Munchkin and Texture.

G2 vs XLG - XLG dont seem to be a team that stand up much and G2 do like to talk trash(trent and valyn)

FNC vs RRQ - Those last rounds on Ascent it seemed that Boaster, Crashies and Alfa were standing up full time.

Wolves vs GenG - Wolves were standing up even when 9-4 down or 11-6 down, it seemed to be an important factor in their comeback and helped their momentum.

Sen vs PRX - TBD

not refuting that, but foxy on sunset vs fnc was handling the situation really well when they pushed his site and i just feel the performance was night and day compared to today. Might have been the comp which was more explosive, might be mental, idk🤷

posted 1 month ago

3 comebacks in the last 5 maps against them. The FNC split just looked like fnc were hitting shots, but these last two maps against wolves they just looked completely panicked and not playing well when wolves started getting a streak going. I dont know what they are using the timeouts for, but i would just use the timeouts for mental resets rather than anything, because tactically I doubt munchkin will just implode.

I do prefer the deadlock comp to this one, however I would prefer chron on the deadlock rather than alfa, especially because the deadlock is much more util intensive and chron specializes more on those sorts of agents, like a viper or a breach.

my guess is it will be fnc ban pearl, rrq ban split, fnc pick haven/lotus, rrq pick ascent, fnc ban sunset, rrq ban icebox, lotus/haven is left,

at the end of the day it seems quite favorable for fnatic, especially because you get 2 good maps where you probably outclass them in terms of macros, and hopefully you wanted to save ascent and thats why you picked into sunset(unlikely). It seems to be a perfectly decent map veto, especially if fnc choose to pick icebox even earlier instead of lotus or haven and if rrq dont ban split theyre screwed anyways because they will always lose on that map against fnc.

imo fnc could have a decent run but nothing special, especially because of little prep time and losing a good map and a bad map coming into the pool.

any team can just ban split and pick into ascent and sunset, teams like sen, prx, geng who have shown good sunsets and teams like wolves, g2 and geng who have shown good ascents can probably just get a free map win, and thats a tough situation, especially when u just perma ban pearl.

even if his shooting has been sub par on this map in particular, some of his gravnets, trip changes and walls have really helped them get control on post plants especially

posted 1 month ago

fr, his util has caused so much trouble for fnc

I just dont think you understand

posted 1 month ago

has to be, its ascent with BBL defense first

posted 2 months ago

Something is too inconsistent to be 4th, everything else is quite normal, but I do believe from PRX that its been forsaken that has really stepped up and maybe deserves to be on the list.

I think the coaching staff for Liquid have done a decent job, but when your IGL is top fragging something is very wrong(even when the IGL is nAts)

posted 2 months ago

Bro full cooked, 17/3, hard carried but still lost, very unlucky but it doesn't say anything bad about Liquid, just good things about FNC. Also given the tejo nerfs it's good to see that at least on some maps people are starting to phase it out and work on comps without it, especially in EMEA given their reduced time for prep(split, some icebox, ascent, haven) all maps that used to have such heavy reliance on tejo. With fracture going out, it seems that EMEA aren't fully cooked.(this is full copium, emea is mega cooked, they're all ass and they dont have prep time. TH and FNC might be able to get to playoffs but i doubt they'll do anything special)

i think to be considered a superteam you have to be bringing in the talent and not it being grown from the start. In the case of G2 while in terms of talent it absolutely is a superteam, the fact that the guard core has been untouched makes me think it isn't. The fnatic "superteam" was formed when they added 2 huge talents in the same offseason(chron and leo). Had they been brought up from within the team I dont know if you could call it a super team. Of course this is just my interpretation of superteam.
