Split out is a disaster bc it's clearly the best map to watch, but I also think the new map looks promising so if they don't fuck it up it could be a 1 for 1. Pearl on the other hand has been there for quite a long time now (offseason+kickoff+Bangkok+split1+Toronto) and it's not very interesting to watch imo so I'm kinda glad it's out. Bind is clearly one of the best map in the game and it was the map where the meta has been the most interesting this years so it's a great addition.
Overall I'd say that it should have been -Pearl -Icebox and it'd have been the best map pool possible (assuming the new map is good, but as long as it's not as bad as Abyss it'll at least be interesting)
