No one, sorry my friend, gonna have to ascend through tier 2
Well then yeah, a random mortal works, because if you don't actually give the 6th a guarantee that he is gonna play I don't think it's worth for anyone with any type of future to accept
No that's def not the rule there's way too many pro's that don't play ranked and are diamond or ascendant. Still if that was the case you can put the coach or the analyst or a random mortal player
I mean imo y'all are just as good or in a better position than last year, you have the guarantee than RRQ is gonna be a top team for at least 4 years unlike last year where BOOM got to go to Champs with their last chance of the year, RRQ is definitely gonna have a bugger chance than that. And then you get a VRL where teams can compete like last year, don't be so dramatic dude, year hasn't even started yet
Looool, whatever dude, yes you're right! G2 CEO should be looking after what's better for EU instead of what's better for his own company, sure you really understand the world you live in
No, Riot said they need to have someone signed as 6th just in case something happens they aren't force to reschedule or whatever can just force them to play with the sixth. They are not telling teams "The sixth player has to play one of every 3 maps" or something like that, again they can literally sign their mom in and keep doing what they are doing. No players wants to waste his career on the bench so you either actually give him maps to play or you're gonna have a shitty sub
Yes that's exactly what I said, what about it
Same than this year? Dude you're really not getting my point, I'm not talking just about SEN, but about every single team in VCT, not a single team in Champions had a sixth player why tf do you think they are going to this year
I guess it depends on how much Turkish teams wanna pay xD
There's definitely an affordable amount of money for which is more than worth to let him go
Um, it really depends on who they partner with to organize it, probably there's gonna be some invites and a couple open qualifier spots, but that's the first year, second year it doesn't reset all over again, maybe 1/2 teams relegate and there's a tier 3 league where the winner has to play a relegation tournament to see if they are better than the losers of Tier 2, or some similar concept (That's how it works in Spain in both Valorant and LOL). What it's clear tho is that there is def not gonna be open qualifiers other than the first year, so yes, it is missing out
Ofc dude same with Rekkles, literally the same reason, not selling them Perks is weakening your opponents, buying Caps and Rekkles is weakining them too, it's literally the same thing
Then they will miss out on VRL too and lose their spot there, that makes no sense
Ofc he didn’t want a great player sold to his direct competition dude that happens in every fucking sport in the world, it’s just dumb why would you do that. Carlos has been criticized a lot for stuff like that but at the end of the day is just business mindset, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be fair. Forget to mention that that made them 5 million dollars too if aim not wrong
Carlos signed Rekkles for free and then sold it to KCROP I don’t think that is much of a big deal
Do you guys not realize that leaving Valorant rn for orgs rejected is condemning their division forever? Franchising is revisable in 4 years and Riot is not gonna give it to someone that just joined the year before it cause the orgs that stuck around proved themselves loyal. People really underestimate VRL
Ofc dude, even tho the UI is not the best ngl, they could use some work on that
And again, they need a Raze player just as much as they did this year, did they sign it? No, then why would they do it next year then?
In EMEA Case esports roster is looking scary
That’s the problem, you’re seeing being on the VRL like a waste of time when it’s really not, just look at all the orgs there is in EMEA tier 2 this year and it really was worth it for them, viewership and sponsors is what gives them the money at the end of the day, and that VRL is gonna be the biggest one in the world.
Plus franching is revisable in 4 years, if an org leaves the scene rn is basically condemning Valorant for their team forever, since Riot is def not gonna consider them if they come back it the year before the revision
Do what are they gonna do? Go to CS? Dude tier 2 NA players get easily 10k a month, I think it’s enough to survive while you build your career isn’t it
Yes I know you can do that, but you could also do that last season, and did people do it? No, there was like, 5 6 man rosters around the world. My question is why would people start doing it know they literally don’t have to can sign anyone as sixth and not have him play
I guess that’s a subjective point tho
Yeah I was talking about EMEA cause it’s what I know best, but I’m definitely watching NA VRL too. Who wouldn’t wanna compete in a league with XSET, Ghost, OPTC, GUARD, FAZE, V1, Knights, Shopify and 2 more, it’s gonna be great anyway
Carlos was a great guy say whatever tf you want, he made a mistake and paid for it but that doesn’t make him go from the best organization CEO to the absolute worse. He did plenty of great things
But that’s dumb you ofc you release your roster with the amount of FA’s there is, you don’t know if they are building another one better. Excel kept Alive and Mad kept Polvi so I thought it was clear it’s a rebuild?
I don’t think 6th players are gonna be a thing like people is saying, it just doesn’t make sense, teams are not gonna incorporate a whole another system to their team just cause Riot said so.
Plus that would mean another unnecessary salary to pay when instead you can literally sign your mom as a 6th, never gonna play anyway
And also who tf should wanna waste his career on the bench. Monster is like 17 there’s no way he wants to sit bench
You missed the IGL’s Koldamenta, Boo and Redgar, also Zeek and Link, G2 players Meddo, Hoody, and specially Nukkye, also Molsi and Jady, idk so many players
How did franchising kill EXCEL and MAD?
It’s not about thropies, I meant the money he’s made, which includes buying and selling players which he’s made incredible business off. Selling entire top rosters for a shit tone of money and then re signing them for free, and then selling them again
He’s not bad for VRL but not for VCT, plus there’s many players FA which you only need to pay them their salary not a buyout just like what you have to do to keep Jesse, so it’s just not worth it imo
I would agree if the question was about legacy but it's about clout, and if these orgs pull more viewership than TL and FNC every single time they play that means they have more fans, idk how else to say it
I think the opposite, if it's Valorant TL and FNC can compete, if it's in general then KOI clears, dude Ibai hold twitch world record with 3.1m viewers do you know how many fans that is
Yeah I think the only think that could ever make Maxwell lose his fanbase is signing for a French team lol
Lol KOI clears EMEA and it's a fact
Exactly, but that's common sense, what I mean is that Riot is not sending emails to orgs threatening them if they pick Sinatra yk
Rumors say they wanna keep famsii, see proves your point wrong, it can be worse
A couple months ago this would have been a KOI reference
No that's not why he doesn't get picked up, it just wouldn't make sense for orgs is not a Riot thing
I don't think it makes any sense to make the players move to a city if you're not gonna make every game LAN, hopefully with a crowd too
How so, it's literally cancel culture, that's literally the definition of it, and as I just said I understand why it happened, not saying if it's wrong or right, he asked if it's cancel culture and I'm answering
I don’t think Twitter is a representative form to measure what the population thinks tho xD
I mean dude I don’t complain about the decision cause I understand it affects Riot’s image, but yes, it is cancel culture, he literally did nothing wrong or ilegal, didn’t even mention politics at all.
Lembo on stream, Spanish leaker, he explained everything he knew after the lists were released since he is also a Giants CC and he didn’t wanna affect the process.
Still it’s not hard to guess, It’s been known that BR had 3 spots way before the G2 incident si it’s either EG or Lev and Anonimotum twitted specifically saying that LEV was in a while before the G2 thing too. So yeah, EG
It’s confirmed it was EG
That's what you got wrong, they are not actually gonna play, just gonna sit there
Yes it's supposed to be bad teams are not gonna change their whole system cause riot said so so just gonna have someone that never plays and no good player is gonna throw away his career like that. Idk if it can be you, ask prx
