They will have more but probably not that many more. That being said it’s kinda pointless, if you placed top6 in your league you’re not winning ascension

posted about a year ago

The rivalry between regions would be so strong and fun to have. Facing each other just once a year is fucking criminal

posted about a year ago

Not in Valorant, it isn’t. China is a different region

posted about a year ago

It will make a lot of people lose their jobs and orgs leave. But it was gonna happen naturally . This was 1000% necessary and I hope they do it in EMEA aswell

posted about a year ago

Probably yes. Not China tho? That’s not APAC

posted about a year ago

It already has

All the mentioned above are great, just wanna mention some MENA players because they never get in this discussions

What Akai has been doing this year is fucking insane, haven’t checked but he might be the better player ACS wise in all the leagues mf averaging 300ACS

Also Moh and Avez

There will be less place for orgs and less jobs for players that is for sure. Tier 3 players here in Spain get payed very little (have another job quite often), and I understand why it’s not gonna be well received by that part. Have to look at it with a completely different mindset, and with this change that scene would grow a lot too

But you need to look at the bigger picture, those jobs weren’t gonna be maintained for a long time anyway. Tier 2 orgs are leaving Valorant massively because rn it just doesn’t make sense.

Look, I probably need more research on the SEA situation, maybe you can help me. But my head thinks of applying this to EMEA and thinks is great. Look at Polaris for example, they have 1 org. Half of the EMEA leagues struggle to get 1k viewers, idk about the SEA ones, but here it’s just not viable. Each year they have less viewers, less orgs and less money, they were all gonna end up dying

I don’t understand your point at all. M8 won, and I don’t see how they wouldn’t have been able to go on that run if they were on a league with the other regions instead of going on a run at Ascension, how is it any different?

And if they didn’t well, that’s alright someone else would have, this is not the point of the format. The point is to make a sustainable tier 2, which if it stays separate like this, it was bound to die soon anyway

Clearly you don't know what an upset is

You wouldn't be making a career and life ending accusation if it weren't true because you would get sued for a fortune

Calm tf down this is a big W

The scene is not currently sustainable, all those leagues are money holes that are bound to collapse. APAC and EMEA have wayyy too many leagues. EMEA with 2/3 leagues would be 10 times more fun, competitive and sustainable long term, hope they go that route. Every region can maintain a tier 3 league like Spain has to keep creating talent and have like a second ascension

Rematch, does Raad get ban adventage? Hope they win. Winning the league to all those imports gigachad

I don’t think it’s KPI style but if he has a contract and they don’t want to sell there’s not much to do

posted about a year ago

Riot has diversified a lot they have plenty of different style of games now

The sour bettors on the replies are crazy. We skipped the “you sold my parlay” phase and went straight for the matchfixing cope lmao

Yes Kiles seems like a really shy guy, but once he gets comfortable he seems like an amazing teammate to have. But it wasn’t just that he was also not performing individually and now he is playing like in Case again

posted about a year ago

Looks like it finally clicked a couple weeks ago. And I think one of the main reasons is Kiles is finally playing like the vision they had when they made the move

Seems like you understand perfectly to me xD

It sucks

Tf is it doing on attack xD

If I’m being honest I think it’s most likely neither of the 3 Brazilian teams make playoffs

posted about a year ago

Pacific Split 2 is pretty much over already, teams in Playoffs are pretty much defined now, they’re pretty much only playing to see who gets the first round bye

posted about a year ago

If you watch the 3 games and the context and conclude G2 is the better team we’re definitely not watching the same thing

Ulting the site where cypher is strong holding is strong af

No need to prepare we’re probably playing the B team, we’ve got first seed guaranteed. You guys should prepare to get cooked by Baena Ayoze and Merino

It isn’t aim training, everyone kept saying he was this insane on praccs all year long last year, but the team was so internally broken he couldn’t perform

They ain’t making playoffs at this rate

It's not really faith if you think it's not gonna end well is it

That's pretty cool, but yeah it's definitely not been well received. Hope they announce a tier 2 rework next

Why tf is arda on the bench mfs

Loosing money from ascension is terrible. Plus imagine 1 Ascension team becomes really good and monopolizes the spot, that pretty much means you're doomed.

Also the players point is fair, Ascension teams are gonna start doing wayyyy more changes now, can't afford to keep someone just because he "earned it"

posted about a year ago

This is Marcos' take, UCAM's CEO on the new changes. UCAM has been grinding tier 2 since Valorant came out and they've been doing an outstanding job, they're by far the best run organization in Spain. I think everything he says are very valid points that make a lot of sense when you think about it. Warning, it's long af

Or TH leaves Breeze open and forces you to choose Breeze or Sunset

He’s pretty much confirming on Twitter he’s gonna play Iso and it’s about to be insane cause dude’s been main Iso in ranked since it came out

Hell no, not yet

Yeah they still can, but if TH doesn't troll they should be totally fine.

I'd rather not say my age but +18

chill out buddy

posted about a year ago

Correct, my only doubt is the tiebreaker which I imagine is H2H in case of 2 way tie.

But overall yeah, FUT winning is better for TH

posted about a year ago

Nope, there are no groups anymore. It's hard to explain and vlr is confusing af, look at this instead https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2024/EMEA_League/Stage_2/Group_Stage

It's just a normal league format but split into 2 halves in a weird way. But it's just a regular league at the end of the day

posted about a year ago

Opposite bro. Top 2 get the bye and and if Navi is tied with TH, bigger danger

posted about a year ago

Timing of the change is definitely wrong but I'm just saying we cannot judge if it's the right one or not yet
