NRG is honestly one of those teams that with the current roster feel like they've hit a ceiling, they're good enough to make VCT and or LCQ in that like top 8-12 team range but isn't good enough to make it over the hump to make an international event in a region thats as competitive as NA. Every region has those kind of teams tbh.

Then any female team signed to an org that already fields a VCT male roster gets fucked over just like academy teams. Theres no rules against co-gender rosters. Any org can still technically pick up a female pro to their roster and I doubt anyone would care, it just hasn't happened yet.

he kind of isn't wrong, unless its C9W or G2G. Most female teams typically don't even do well in qualifiers against T3/T4 FA teams. Every female team that competed in NA's 128 open quals, only 1 even made it to top 32 (out of like 5-6 female teams)

Because most of them are female teams belonging to orgs that already have a tier 1 VCT male roster and Riot doesn't allow multi-team orgs to compete in VCT with their academy/female teams. So thus those female teams have to compete somewhere (Game Changers)

Co teams are definitely possible theres no rules against it. But they have a seperate league just for the sake of it I think. Although some female teams do get to compete in VCT qualifiers if their main male org counterpart isn't going through those same quals (why we saw C9W in the 128 team quals because C9B already qualified)

I mean sure, but at the same time anyone can make an excuse for 3/4 of those events to be fluke wins. (Berlin was kind of the only event that didn't seem like a fluke and everyone seems to agree upon that).

But Champions does mean more than any of the masters events.

Hopefully we see other regions win a masters or even champions because only having 1-2 dominant regions isn't great for the esport scene as a whole imo and is alot healthier in the state where any team from any region can win the big one. Hell, Zeta was ranked 12 going into Iceland and finished top 3

Honestly, at the end of the day I don't care who wins because I just want the overall global scene to thrive, not just one team or region consistently dominating the international tier of competition. Every region has great talent depth imo.
