you're not too far off there, its not gonna add anything special unless you're starting to do it in plat-diamond+ but it also does depend on the team. While yeah alot of lower elo ones don't really know a whole lot anyhow but I've atleast seen a few that know what they're doing atleast. Just comes down to whether its people that can actually follow up on said calling.

But alot of my opinion also stems from me being an IGL myself.

XSET clearly had more prep for pearl than FPX did. While FPX is also one of the best fracture teams in the world whereas XSETs isnt that good to begin wtih. Its just as simple as both teams being good on the maps theyre good at

you'd be surprised at how much having someone that can make calls in game ranked whether its 5 stacks or not can make an impact. Even if IGLing low elo ranked isnt gonna be as in depth as what you'd see higher up.

We all on the up fr. Hoping for LEV to make top 4 they're definitely capable of doing so.

BOOM also had zero expectations for their group, new team to international LAN. Not a super strong team as it is, they atleast took a map off optic so I feel like their players are atleast satisfied with that.

Xerxia always have disappointed, were gonna get grouped even if it was an easy group, if they didnt throw their comps and style against XSET they would've 2-0'd

EDG could've won i feel like if they were playing with Smoggy, but Liquids anti-stratting and experience shown out. EDG was trying to just run down and out aim a really stronger aimer team like Liquid and it just didn't work. Not to mention first ever LAN for this team, they atleast put China on the map and I feel like with more experience they'll get better.

Liquid are a top 8 team if they're hitting their shots and actually play as a team. Do they disappoint at times, yeah. Can't really favor them to get out of their group with PRX still in the fold.

Fnatic known to choke on LAN but they should roll Furia, if they don't then its a yikers for them.

Furia is the worst team in their group but the same could've potentially been said about Leviatan. FNC are known to choke when it matters on LAN, its definitely unlikely but I wouldnt call it impossible

Its moreso the fact that 100T beat FNC who are arguably a better team and DRX struggled at first against Furia who are the worst team at the event. Plus fanbases tbh. Odds are DRX win 2-1

More of a chance that 100t beats fnc than furia beating drx tbh.

Thing is 100T and FNC are similar in terms of playstyles (similar not 1:1) and FNC do well against those teams. They just struggle against the more "chaotic" teams per say. But 100T have alot of momentum right now and if they can pull an EDG and perform on their majority LAN debut its possible, hoping for a banger of a game.
