Nice, twitter impressions/creativity/whatever the fuck you mean is what makes a team successful. EU logic, grasping at straws.

Yah, me too. I literally live 5 minutes from Riot headquarters and the stadium they use for League. D:

If people are arriving days in advance, why does a long flight time matter? This geolocation reasoning doesn't make much sense outside of the time zone centrality.

Oslo? lol

You wouldn't be able to fill a school auditorium with fans, much less a stadium.

posted about 2 years ago

It hurts more to lose in your own region, unlucky.

Agreed, but it doesn't matter if there's no audience allowed anyway. LA next year.

It's Vivo Keyd not Havan Liberty, but yeah.

Yes, only 2 of the 4 teams can advance.

It would only take 1-3 more game days for 2 teams from each group to play in a playoffs bracket, which is very little and wouldn’t affect preparations for LCQ very much. Also, teams that are eliminated before the final few games fly out as soon as they can, so extending the playoffs by a few days would only effect a handful of teams. Weird reasoning, I think it’s more likely that Riot only has the venue for those ten days.

SEA* SA is South America. But yah, I hope he gets well soon, what a talented and entertaining player.

Gen. G is looking good tho, could make it 13-2 both maps, give them a few rounds.

posted about 2 years ago

Their run isn’t over, it just goes to lower bracket, unlucky.

I think the guy was joking.

Said an offensive comment or something to a Riot employee at Reykjavik and can’t play challengers 1.

  1. SEN
  2. NV
  3. V1
  4. 100T

https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/23442bf1

NV could win it all but it’s hard to bet against SEN since they haven’t lost in months. V1 looking strong with thief, but more inconsistent than with Zellsis. I wanna see 100T in Berlin and/or LA so I keep placing them high, but I can also see them getting double upset and getting last place.

All the teams that upset “T1” NA teams yesterday could 2-0 the best EU teams, so upsets are nothing to be ashamed about but rather they are signs that the competitive scene is growing across the board.

Lol. you put a lot of effort into your bait comments, respect.

He might be talking about them benching kaboose or maybe that Marved said some stuff about Kyedae a while back idk.

Big surprise!

posted about 2 years ago

Any worry that was there is gone now. SEN does like to get upset in these Challengers tournaments though, you can never put it past them. A fan like me has to be worried somewhat.

From the standpoint of a SEN fan, EG having a mostly new roster makes things a bit easier for their matchup down the line.

Not sure, my guess would be eeiu.

posted about 2 years ago

I don’t think it’s Dephh who’s getting replaced but we’ll see. Might be a 6-man for some time.

posted about 2 years ago

So many questions

Is XSET a 6-man roster now? If not, who is getting benched/kicked? Will Zekken be on Raze/another duelist or will they have him change roles?

It’s always great to see young players getting signed to bigger teams. Excited for the new roster to debut.

Other European teams: completely shuffling their rosters in order to form super teams

Guild: -draken +draken, that should do it

There's no need to compare California's COVID cases with Australia's because, first of all, Riot would never choose to host an international LAN in Australia for other reasons and, second of all, both have made great strides towards essentially eliminating the virus, albeit at different rates and with different death/case tolls. Great that you have 1 case, congrats, but LA, a city with 18+ million people having less than a thousand daily cases months before the LAN is more than acceptable.

posted about 2 years ago

Win an international LAN, then you can complain, how's that?

posted about 2 years ago

There are most definitely other factors that led to their choice, but being in the same city as the headquarters can't hurt by any means.

posted about 2 years ago

Well this is just ignorant. COVID cases have been steadily declining in California and will continue to until December, when it will most likely not be an issue at all.

California COVID cases graph

I suppose you would like to propose an alternative, like Australia for example? A continent with a comparable population to just the city of Los Angeles? Yeah, no.

NA seemingly best region after winning Masters 2, deserves to host Champions ✔️

LA large metropolitan area with likely a large number of fans (me included) ✔️

LA very high vaccine rates and is opening up stadiums/venues pretty quickly ✔️

Riot Games headquarters is located in Santa Monica in the LA area ✔️

It seems to me a pretty straightforward choice.

You're copy pasting your misleading post here too, nice. As a reminder,

No, because in that case, SEN also qualifies because they are 2nd place and NA has two champions slots. You really think the Reykjavik casters would announce something without checking their math? 0head
