dude is fucking HITTING. i was a semi fan of talon at the beginning of the year, but now im really rooting for them. bringing in primmie last second has got to be one of the biggest ballsy move ever. having it pay off has got to be insanely good pr for the org and players. esp frost. +10000 aura for him

posted about a year ago

Uh why ban??? He’s really fucking good and the roles don’t overlap

posted about a year ago

who will he replace and do we think talon is gonna be insane? i saw some highlights and he looks nutty

Surely it was trading Xeta and autumn for curry in the middle of the season, right?

this is the player i thought he was gonna be at the beginning of the year. he's looking a lot more comfortable and im glad he isn't totally boomed bc he was a major prospect last year and im not a fur fan but i felt bad for how bad he was doing

im not gonna lie, platchat helped A FUCK TON. I dont think i would have watched as many matches if it weren't for them. they also filled the time in between maps and stuff SO WELL. the main reason why i dont like to watch watchparties is bc a lot of them are boring and either they provide TOO much analysis, or they overreact. no hate to them, i just prefer a little bit of both, which is what platchat was able to do. sucks they prob wont be doing one for seoul, but im glad to hear their casting

posted about a year ago

Also, EDG and FNC not doing well was a surprise to me. Maybe edg one was just me being ignorant, but i thought fnc were gonna do at least a LITTLE bit better

posted about a year ago

oh for sure. if you look at #20, i misunderstood what they meant. i have no problem with wanting to root for the team that you like

posted about a year ago

ok so say that. not make it seem like it's because of the org themselves.

I'd be bummed if my fav teams didn't make it, but i'd still want to watch it and i think i'd enjoy it more tbh since i dont have a team im cheering for heavily and i can be exposed to more teams, yk?

posted about a year ago

woah a sane sen fan??

posted about a year ago

but why the fuck does that matter??? Those teams weren't good enough to get to the tournament and besides maybe navi, none of them deserve to be at this tournament

i just dont understand why the ORG and CLOUT matter

maybe not everyone is like me, but all i want to do is to watch some good valorant with crazy moments

TRY NOT TO FIND SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT CHALLENGE

LEVEL: IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!

like holy fuck madrid was fun and so was shanghai. i would say that the gf was a bit underwhelming because of how one sided the maps were, but it definitely had it's moments. Pacific got their first trophy and it wasn't from prx or drx, the two teams that have always placed well. G2, an ascension team, whom almost everyone(myself included) doubted, were able to get 3rd. Team Heretics, a team that had to get a sub, was able to go all the way to the grand final and wo0t put up an insane performance throughout the tournament(although the grand final wasn't his best performance). 100T went from being memed on and hated on to establishing themselves as a top contender.
GEN.G has the best storyline imo.

  • t3xture went from being on one of the WORST teams last year and being shit to being one of the best players(imo).
  • Munchkin went from being in the depths of the t2 japanese scene to leading his team to a win.
  • Lakia went from being one of the best players at the beginning of valorant to the t2 scene, and was called up and he came through.
  • Solo, like Lakia, went from being one of the best at the first international event as a PLAYER to being the head coach of this team
  • Meteor went from being an overheating duelist to one of the greatest sentinels(again, imo).
  • Karon was a literal ranked player. he was a pubg player(i think) and geng found him in a ranked match. that's insane.
  • For me personally hsk has had the best redemption arc ever. Dude went from being the coach of DFM last year, the worst team ever hands down, to helping this team get the win.

Although the chinese teams didn't do that well, I would like to shoutout FPX for exceeding many peoples expectations and I can't wait for this team to be at champs.

All in all, no tournament is ever "bad" because there are always highlight moments and to take away the achievements of players and teams is super disrespectful and shitty.

idk the team looked rly good at the beginning and ive always been rly high on k1ng. this roster also looked rly good so idk i was drawn to them
