every crowd is going to have a bias, ofc the LA crowd is bias toward NA teams, they are an NA crowd, but theres a difference between a bias crowd and a crowd that doesnt cheer for other teams and straight up doesnt show up when there isnt a brazillian team playing

thing is, they have no info other than the stuff zellsis is hearing. while on the other hand C9 has the info that they have broken all the cypher util on C, and iirc they tapped cam and saw 3. so from SEN's POV, they know 2 are C CT, 2 are A CT, and 1 is unknown. its more likely for the last guy to be C CT b/c he'd be far enough away that zellsis can't hear him, so B is technically the weaker site, AND c9 currently know at least 3 are C and could easily flood retake within 10 seconds or so. i dont think going B is great, but its not like (based on what they knew) C was much better.

he plays gekko + neon pretty well in ranked, like mechanically he has a prowess to them.
i think the difference is that theres some qualities a player has that you will only see in ranked. like fragging power. a dude may drop 35 in ranked every game and then drop 8 every game in pro matches (mazin in stage 1 vs him in ranked a few months back).
but things like mind for the game/game sense (is that and mine for the game the same thing?), movement, comms, etc, are stuff that dont change based on the environment youre in.
those qualities are things that people highlight in sinatraa's gameplay all the time.
when he played pro (and when he genuinely tries, i.e. the NRG trials) he genuinely was a very good rifler, and was willing to play whatever (according to chet who just put him on iso on haven and he never questioned it) and his decision making was on point. FNS and dapr have both described him as a literal perfect teammate, one who will frag out for you nonstop, rarely have a bad match, and almost never baited (while almost exclusively rifling).

i think the casters brought up a good point. LOUD had been playing that comp in scrims seemingly for multiple months and was consistently getting reps against the default ascent comp, while SEN had been also getting reps against the default ascent comp. its like one of those rlly bad mobile games where LOUD has lvl. 99 experience against the default ascent comp and SEN only has lvl. 1 experience.
also they let split slip and i dont think they were planning on winning ascent in any fashion.
