The good players will want to get paid and move to whatever team/game where the pay is. Not saying its CS2 but if there is a team willing to pay more for them thats where they are going. However, if C9 is having this issue I am sure CS orgs are having similar issues.

Alfajer, Leo, and Chronicle he had 1 bad tournament but besides that he is the most accomplished valorant player.

Only thing I can think of is it was single elimination. But no one was beating FNC anyways as they never would have went to lowers. Maybe loud would have won the rematch in the final but with two map bans I don't see that FNC losing.

I sped read that so you may have mentioned this. 10 man rosters also allow a team to train drills over and over again for consistency. Drills are key in a ton of sports and I can't imagine a team running them with scrim partners

I believe it was more about the Guard not being able to support the team as riot specifies in their documents. The Guard isn't really in operation any more and couldn't satisfy Riots requests.

However, I don't see why finding a foster org for the players isn't a possibility.

But I think the issue was The Guard wanted to sell the spot, Riot wouldn't let them and with 0 communication this was the result. Very poorly managed

Clearly Riot owns the slot anyways. By promoting no one that is clear. If a team tried to sell their spot they could tell them to fuck off. which is probably what happened here. Fuck The Guard.

If that's true they should have explained that to the Guard and the Guard should have dropped the team and let the team get picked up. If it wasn't explained by Riot then the blame is back on Riot.

But we will never know. I am going to lean towards the Guard fucking these players over.
