Why? He has always been a solid player even against T1 teams. When he was on the starting roster with EG he played well. In every game he played with them he either top fragged or was second. He got dropped because he didn't fit in the team after demon1 came in.
mayhap Marteen and then either Narrate or Tomaszy will fill secondary duelist. Also sense when has n4rrate been a supper flexible player? Not saying he isn't just not what I know him for.

I think you are right Americas top teams did get worse but other teams may have gotten better. For me as a fan of the region this means it will be more interesting because there isn't an obvious team that will dominate everything. There may be and probably will be but we will get to watch and find that out.

Leaf does not stream, he makes his money from competing. He does not have a position and does not seem likely as of right now in Val T1. Does he go T2 val? terrible move. Does he take a shot at T1 CS, where he was so good he received death threats because people thought he was cheating? If leaf does not get T1 in Valo his better option is CS.
Leaf leaving Val for CS2 is almost confirmed.

I don't think so. Leaf is either staying in T1 or moving back to CS where he will instantly be picked up by a NA T1 team. Like FNS there is no reason for Leaf to be playing val T2.

It wasn't, players have been for a while and no one cared. EG started doing and people created a narrative around it and wanted an excuse to hate.
