Any aspiring pros from SEA? go trial now

What do you mean retaliate? Who's fighting who?
garena would want to be the exclusive distributor of valorant in SEA
there are no tier 1 games so everyone's just bored.
Jake Sin has gotta be racist against Southeast Asians
IMO sean shouldn't have brought up the cheating allegations.
What was a decent video might end up being percieved as him being salty because his team lost
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i though we were still in the match fixing allegations. so we now shifted to cheating. thanks dude
i dont get what sean gares is trying to prove here.
Fair is throwing right? So, SR lost to a team that was throwing?
I dont think you read it right. Read again what i wrote above. Its "mishandled" not "mislead"
Thats because the viewership is scattered on to different platforms and different languages. On YT where Indonesians prefer to watch i can see regular matches get 3 k+ views. On the Thai channel and some co streams it can easily go up to 10k+. Other regions like PH VN and MYSG get around 1k-3k depending on the team thats playing
Riot is the developer and publisher of valorant
Riot and SOOP have an exclusivity deal where SOOP will cover tournament cost and in turn SOOP will have stream exclusivity. This kills the tier 2 scene because nobody knows or even cares about SOOP
Additional information:
The whole of SEA could easily garner 5-10k simulataneous views on YT and Twitch. However, on SOOP the official english stream barely makes it over 500 views
Its bad because with this deal SOOp has exclusive streaming rights meaning games cant be stream and costreamed on YT and Twitch which the majority of SEA uses
Riot mishandled tier2 so bad that prominent orgs are leaving. Recent news is Mongolz left valorant
Asians are too polite for this shit. That's why we import dramatic complainers from NA (fr0st)
oh you're right thanks for correcting me. i thought zol left cuz all their players were lft
if you put it that way then BOOM still has a chance. they'll be representing the whole of SEA instead of just indonesia. Given their track record in multiple games they've already had experience in handling players from other SEA countries.
billion dollar company wanting to save a few cents leads to bad decisions
yeah, its basically killing tier 2 because no one wants to watch it over there. Twitch and YT co-streaming is not allowed
SOOP has streaming rights for SEA tier 2 provided they shoulder the cost of running it.
List of decent Orgs that pulled out of SEA tier 2 because of SOOP and Riot's incompetence
Disguised
Full Sense
Made in Thailand
Alter Ego
Bigetron
Is riot gonna wait until the SEA scene is gonna collapse?
edit: full sense not confirmed yet mb
who are these content creators? i haven't seen a single soul who said SOOP would be good for tier 2 SEA
thailand is the only country that will survive SOOP because they're the country in SEA that cares to watch games over there
i dont get why a BO5 starts at 7PM PH and SG time. This match is gonna end at 1 AM
IDC about pro players. Jake Sin and Leo Faria will have my hate for as long as VCT SEA isnt improved and supported
GE - Overhype their duelist players -> dont give the time to develop -> a lot of pressure because of overhyping -> release them because they barely won any games
the n1zzy pick up seems more like a Higher ups decision. they probably want to attract the Vietnamese fans. So, yeah his pick up is questionable
we will see. im just mad that they weren't moving forward with jremy that's why im critical of their pick ups
i disagree. any flex or duelist player can play controller. its not like you need insane mechanical skill on controller agents. All you need is high game IQ and timmings
i agree. n1zzy wasn't doing well on the academy team and zesbeew was the worst one in BOOM
i wouldn't be surprised if udotan and kr1stal would agree to get bought out by other teams after this season if they fail to reach champs
already announced

invy, wildoreo, and jremy should've been the core for this rebuild. Meow is just adding more to this nepotism narrative
NAOS isnt gonna disband. they'll just be playing their relegation matches and if they win they'll be back for split 3
it would've been crazyguy vs yay if EG qualified for toronto
singapore and the philippines are part of ASEAN which has an agreement that all southeast asian nations can enter each other's countries visa free.
it depends if he can get his visa on time. the philippines has been notoriously difficult to secure visas for first world countries.
jremy getting cut from the team, when they spent years building up this kid, is tragic. His experience could've served them well if he was switched to controller or sentinel. He was never the main duelist type of guy but he still has talent.
shifting him to senti or controller would make sense. he is kinda like tenz where they dont want to entry buy has enough raw talent to secure the trades as the 2nd entry
i know right? considering that Thailand and Indonesia has some of the most dedicated fans in valorant. If VCL SEA was allowed to stream on YT just indonesia alone would be 3k-10k+ of the views
Considering also the rivalry of PH and ID there would be significant PH viewers too
bottom 2 of each group in the group stage automatically get relegated regardless of playoffs. Academy teams are immune from relegation so NAOS being 3rd place in that group get relegated
riot just doesnt know how to handle SEA. if investment was the problem partnering with SOOP was the worst decision ever.
Imagine you consolidate all of SEA into 1 league.
Thai+Indo+Phil+Viet+MYSG viewership skyrockets and you can get more sponsorships if it was streamed on Youtube and Twitch.
But what do we have??? FUCKING SOOP THAT AVERAGES 500 VIEWS PER MATCH!
