yes invy is a support type player but patmen is even more so. Also id like to add that patmen's comms is better than invy's granted we can only hear them from their comms videos

posted 1 month ago

i think invy and patmen fill different roles on their teams even if their agent pool is similar. patmen steps up if he needs to because his teammate are already so good. Whereas, invy has to carry TS every game and if he doesnt perform they can barely win if at all.

TLDR: Patmen is a support type player whereas invy is a carry type player

you can watch his interviews. out of all the current and past team secret members his English is the best among them.

When Team Secret needed to win 1 match to get to Champs 2023 and 2024. They choked both of them

SEA: 4-6
KR: 1
JP: 1
SA: 1
OCE: 1

SEA slots will depend on the current ascended teams if they make champs or not.

TS gonna 5-0 then proceed to not win a game in the playoffs

well, wouldnt a mulitiple nationality team have a broader appeal like lets say paper rex have 5 players from multiple nationalities so they can attract the most viewership

posted 1 month ago

do you mean that single nationality teams can pull much more viewers from their country of origin or outside their country?

posted 1 month ago

What's your guys take?

Single nationality team:
Pros - Cultural cohesion and no language barrier
Cons - Prone to nepotism and can be stagnant when it comes to the approach on how to play the game

Multiple nationality team(Max 2 same nationality):
Pros - Much richer perspective on how to play the game and teams can have a wider pool of players to pick from
Cons - Language and cultural barrier

It depends on the age of the game. Dota 2 has alot of pros that are over 30.

1 member retired and the other 3 members got better offers from Saudi Arabia's Team Falcons. Xipto is just a small org so it was kinda logical

jingggs dad is a high level triad member. that's why you dont see him anywhere

obviously i dont believe that. That's why i specifically said "conspiracy theory". I'm mad at the way things are going in SEA tier 2 so im just shit talking here.

Consipracy theory: SOOP is Korea's way to suppress SEA so they can take over APAC

posted 1 month ago

talon just needs to stop this "oh we have 100 different comps for 1 map" and they'll do well

posted 1 month ago

no trophies for 2nd placers. Winning matters the most

posted 1 month ago

they just got strat diffed tbh. Give them more time to expand their playbook and i'll bet they'll dominate VCT CN in stage 2

posted 1 month ago

wolves are fine. if they want to make changes, do it after champs

posted 1 month ago

i think VCT CN and VCT Pacific being so close to each other elevates the quality of practice for Asia as a whole. I remember back when VCT CN didn't exist, Vision Strikers/DRX would always lose in tournaments because the quality of scrims they got in Asia was not that great

another 5-6th place lmao

I feel like EMEA is on a slow decline. CS is so much more popular in Europe that new players trying to break into the tac FPS scene would rather choose CS over Valorant.

posted 1 month ago

What now?

posted 1 month ago

Asia will be more dominant in the future just because of the fact that Tier 1 APAC teams can scrim with Tier 1 CN teams.

Everyone was affected by the tejo changes. If you cant adapt then you dont deserve to win.

Eyyyyyy ! fellow Xavi believer here

posted 1 month ago

I dont think so. He does his job well and if he gets a good game he dominates so much.

Every paper rex member pops off in different games against different teams. You guys only focus on something because he is playing the most popular role.

Taiwan and hong kong are considered both as residents of China and APAC. It just depends on where you register at the start of the year

Not to mention they got a malaysian coach, nepalese analyst, and filipino assistant coach

bruh why did they switch the schedules.... im gonna sleep through half of the prx match again

endgame is the obvious answer but if we are not considering that then maybe captain america civil war, doctor strange, or guardians of the galaxy vol 3
