TOs don't work against casters, the actual malicious stuff comes from other casters lol

TOs can harm casters by having bad events and treating talent badly, for instance I had an event where they just didn't show us where to get food, so when we start at 7am and finish at 11pm, none of the shops were open and we went like 2 days without food

I damaged my own career by going to Ukraine, which made me "political"

It's hard to give specific examples due to my friends potentially becoming collateral damage due to just being associated with me (yes, people are that petty)

I don't think ever actually, the players know you're part of their branding as a caster, a good example with JuicySG was "the juice is loose", so there's usually quite a bit of respect between players and casters (especially in apac)

Most of the talent rumours are true, usually they're worse than you hear because as they go from person to person they get watered down due to people protecting those who told them

I don't really fear retaliation from TOs or other casters anymore so be as controversial as you want

Best memory would be APAC LCQ, putting myself and pavlos on the map and genuinely just having an amazing casting team around us. Close 2nd and 3rd are the 2 times I've cast in India, my first time casting internationally in Bulgaria was awesome as well, going to Sweden and meeting my mentor and now extremely close friend

As for worst, brother there are so many lows lol, waiting over 6 months to get paid, so much TO drama, the akuma vs navi match in Cs being fixed (I'll probably tell the story of that on a stream but we watched navi get ddosed in real time, random observers join mid game, gotv having 0 delay), being used to undercut other casters against our knowledge, realising the phrase "never meet your heros" exists for a reason

Like the highs of this job are so fucking high, but the lows are so damn low

The analyst side, I started as a caster doing esea open games, and then grew from that into smaller tournaments, the analyst side you slowly pick up as you work both roles initially

I feel myself approaching the end of my career, not fully gone yet but as I'm sure you've seen we've just not been picked up for anything this year outside of convergence and going into next year I've got exactly 0 events planned

So I see a lot of people ask questions about casters and events etc on vlr and they usually never get a response, mainly due to fear of TO retaliation

So guys ask away, I'll answer (almost) everything honestly and openly, and if you have any questions for the other casters here, fire away

The main one I get is why I never, went on VCL SA, simply put, I tried many many times to get on there, but I assume Nodwin wanted guys local to the area, granted they never replied so I genuinely don't know

On that note as well, you guys genuinely got me out of some really depressing times, the love you've given to pavlos and I brought me to tears, especially after the apac lcq last year. Your support means the fucking world to us and I want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you <3

Being well prepared and genuinely just practise, pavlos and I write down like 5/6 points for pauses and then we just cycle through them & come in with anything else that comes to mind. It's pretty exhausting but it's part or the job we love <3

When I started casting valorant, Indian TOs were the only ones that would hire me because I came to valorant late. They have remained loyal to me and I will forever loyal to them, if they need a caster for an event I will be there <3

Granted that means I'm now fairly used to filling for time haha

A lot of willpower and Pavlos there to make it easy for me, we also did gxr last year so we're fairly used to having to fill for a bit

A piece of me is proud of how bad my timing was haha

Sometimes the production company chooses, sometimes Riot choose, we can send out reels and stuff to TOs and hope for the best

As for hyping up passive teams, what I personally do in that time is use the 10/20 secs of dead time. I switch to narrative building with Pavlos.

A good example is when Onic change their playstyle and go to being passive,

"remember, this is a lower bracket match Pavlos, the butterfly affects of this round is a. Make. Or. Break, for our happy hedgehogs" or something like that lol
