Those MANY other competitions that don't include teams don't count cause valorant is a TEAM "sport". if you go look at the 10 biggest team sports in the wolrd 9/10 of them have a world cup with NATIONAL teams. the only exception being American Football, no surprise there.

Best way is to go to your local team and watch a game and watch your national team games.

Can you really support an esports org like you support a football club or like an nba or nfl club? At least those have a distinct identity and also have a local bias. Me personally i support players more than I support an org. For example I liked Liquid alot when they still had Scream and Nivera because they were the only belgians in the scene. Now I like NV because of eggster.
