Optic had the money and is much more stable than a team like MIBR, only reason Riot didn't accept them was because they held a grudge from 10 years ago from LoL. Riot probably will have to replace a lot of the poorer orgs that they only accepted to have control over them. It was evident when the team with the most funding in Valorant (The Guard) was denied because riot couldn't easily control them.
