That Kru loss to Gambit on OT in Bind was just heartbreaking. Genuinely wanted to see them in the grand final
Personally, I would love to see the winner of ascension tournaments either have an automatic slot to LCQ, or participate in some international T2 tournament for a direct slot to champions.
Aside from that yeah, T2 off season looks pretty bleak all across the board. I hope this changes because APAC GC tournaments look more organized at this rate.

just because the level of valorant is high doesn't mean the system is good imo.
t2 valorant having a clear goal doesnt mean the goal or system for it is good. competitiveness is high sure, but what happens after?
league system also seems underutilized but its best to just see how next year is gonna be like.
i just think how its setup atm is not healthy for the esport at all and will entice orgs to disband or straight up leave after one bad result

Liquid just underperforms every international LAN so that's a fair assessment. Don't get EDG's ranking though since even kru looks better atm.

theres less women who competitively play games like val, and significantly less who actually want to go pro, so most GC teams are going to struggle against teams whose players generally are more competitive and are more used to the environment.

People on VLR have forgot that Zombs was THE BEST astra player for a long time and its his astra that made a significant difference against Fnatic in the finals of iceland. He was waaay ahead of the curve back then , he picked up the viper too , he is ready to play literally any controller and ofen that too with a spectre to buy guns for his team (because his team has some members who'll force buy repeatedly and then when zombs has a buy ask him for rifles/OPs ) , also on defence he is basically always forced to hold sites on his own , ive seen hi getting support verry few times , on astra he could solo stop a push but now he just cannot because he doesnt have that kind of util on viper( pros sometimes just push the molly if theres only one player on site )
Look at FNS for example , mechanically he is not very good, but he can provide value to the team by making sure all of the other players get sufficient support and survive for the longest amount of time , in SEN everyone wants to play for the clip , the stylepoints , now they removed the only player who played a passive supportive role , i can garuntee it wont end well for them

shahz is great igl material, wdym? just that he thinks streaming the better option than playing professionally. trust me if he cut down his streaming time in half sentinels gonna see a huge improvement.
