Stats don't mean shit, if they are doing their jobs well but are lacking behind their team, well that's where roster changes and experimentation come in.

FaZe is really a Momentum/Warmup Team that goes very argo.

TS ONLY FELL OFF IN STAGE 1 BC OF NO BOOTCAMP OPPORTUNITY DUE TO UNFORESEEN DELAYS AND CONNECTION ISSUES WITH PLDC IN THEIR OWN HOMES.

NEVER SLEEP ON TS.

To be fair, PWR does not have a current relationship with Riot unlike ORDER so Riot doesn't really have an idea of what PWR would offer other than using PWR's Content and other eSports involvements.

GLOBAL ESPORTS OVER PAPER REX??? BROOOO YOU ARE OUT OF THE LOOP ON APAC MY FRIEND...

The PH Challengers Overlays and Style is Used for APAC Playoffs as well. The main reason I would think why not every region uses it is because of the Sponsorships. ASUS and Globe are the main sponsors of PH VCT and APAC Playoffs, not the other regions. Just a thought.

I will say this...
Team Secret will come back for that APAC #1 Spot. Personally, Xerxia doesn't look in peak form without Pati but Surf has been improving as the Stages go on. PRX is just the team to beat at this rate.

nono, the Event is technically called "VCT Stage 2 APAC Playoffs" which is the "playoff for masters". I think they will have a Play-In Stage then Groups, then Knockouts for the Spot at Masters.
Refer to Stage 1's Playoffs. https://www.vlr.gg/event/884/champions-tour-asia-pacific-stage-1-challengers-playoffs

It wouldnt work as APAC is ment for APAC South Circuit Points not APAC North which is for JP and KR.

Watch VCT PH Tagalog Cast. Vil and Tayrawr are just nutz...

PRX is just having fun and just waiting for APAC Playoffs so they can clash with Xerxia and Team Secret HAHA

posted about a year ago

it does make sense cuz APAC South is what? 7 regions with play-ins
EMEA is 3 regions plus Regional League Relegations
NA can have a bigger much more rewarding qualification stage
South America and KR/Japan with 3 is much more reasonable as those regions are popular fanbase wise but in terms of teams, it isnt that big as APAC South, EMEA, or NA

YOU HAVE A POINT, RIOT DOESNT WANT TO PUT MORE MONEY CUZ THEY AINT VALVE WITH THEIR 24 TEAM MAJORS LIKE TI OR PGL/ESL

posted about a year ago

JUST MAKE IT 18 TEAM MASTERS LOL

NA - 4
EMEA - 4
SOUTH AMERICA - 3
APAC NORTH - 3
APAC SOUTH - 4

Its honestly going to be a Showmatch of VCT Teams/Super Region Teams HAHA...

Team Secret looked so bad in Stage 1 due to server connection issues and isp problems they had since TS never had a Bootcamp setup unlike when they were under Bren eSports. It has been like this since Mineski and KJC last year in the Online PH tourneys.

Nope, good guess tho! Vash is great. (Hint: my favorite player is not from TS, but from NA)

It is meant to be a simultaneous tournament like most CS Tournaments. VCT has that one match at a time to keep it suspenseful and better viewership span.

posted about a year ago

i honestly think they should keep the SA LCQ for Masters and remove the 3rd EMEA for the APAC North LCQ since APAC South is SEA+OCE+South Asia
For champions, there will be 1 APAC North LCQ for JP and KR so thats good

We all gotta understand that for timezone sake, Usually Western EU or Eastern NA is the best spot for everyone to watch live, or Southeast Asia at the very least.

posted about 2 years ago

They might not be the best regions compared to the Top Tier Regions in VCT, but it does not mean the Region is not entertaining to watch.

TenZ on Neon and KAY/O :eyes:

Oh yeah, but thats just SA, not SEA in general. If we were talking APAC North as a whole, VCC is no doubt in that playerbase. If we include APAC South, add in Korea and Japan as those streams can peak up to 100k with Co-Streams.

This is going to be great. Assuming Play-Ins, Groups, and Playoffs for APAC is all going to be in one central location. This is going to be nuts! I would assume all the organizers of the bigger APAC Productions like PH, MY/SG, and TH will be the main production partners in this.

Wouldn't the number of teams be the 12 team format that was shared from Riot earlier this year?
