He lead Acend to becoming Champions so he's a great IGL. His contract might have ended so they say his on the bench because it's easier to say

I think sliggy needs to bring his players in a little bit and give a little more structure to their comps

I much rather have Asuna on the flex playing Renya, Raze, and Skye and keep Wardell on Jett and have him share Chamber with Ethan as he says with the sentinel roles. This is how I see it.

Derrek - Sova, Brench, some sentinels

Asuna - Renya, Raze, flex

Bang - Omen, controller

Ethan - sentinel, IGL, maybe Skye

Wardell - Jett, maybe Chamber

They should keep him on Sova, Omen, and sometimes Brench. I think he can be still a great IGL he just needs to stay with the roles that are his best

His a top player in a crappy situation, had to learn a new role that he's not used to and had to learn the IGL role for this team too and he still put up great numbers. Trust me when they come back he will be a great sentinel player and hopefully if he continues to IGL he has made great improvements.

He might be signed by an NA team for import, I can't think of a EU team that needs an IGL thats in the tier 1

Honestly not a bad pick up from 100T, right now IGLs are hard to find and I think he will do some great things for the team.
