? Even if the streamer team doesn’t get out of open qualifiers, there will be another GC team that takes on the mantle from them and starts winning against good teams. DSG doesn’t have to be that team, it’s more than enough for them to bring eyes to the scene.

He definitely doesn't expect to win it all but even so it's got to hurt to see your team funded by your own money lose to the top teams every week. But it is what it is being the bottom seed, you're bound to play the best teams

it is what it is, its unfortunate but if they wanted to qualify to the next stage they need to be able to beat them at some point. If anything this is good practice playing against the top teams. But yeah it obviously sucks getting rolled game after game.

They've beaten every team they were expected to. They've lost to m80 twice, the guard once and tsm once (so far) these are all better teams that should be beating them.

There's nothing stopping kids from playing Faceit rn, almost half the games I get put into have someone that can't be more than 12. But the bright side is at least when you get put on a team with kids they're at least on a similar skill level. Like Global in CS has such a high skill disparity between the bottom and top globals so games are usually always 16-0s or something, thats the main reason I play Faceit because the games are closer and faceit level 6-7 is probably the average skill of a global elite so there's many more ranks to seperate skill.
Imo if Valve simply improves there elo system and maybe gives you an option to see where you place on a leaderboard that would be good enough to convert many faceit players, pros would obviously still use pro league but yk

They had to take the game and completely rebuild it on a new engine. The game now no longer runs on spaghetti code and all the developers know the language the game is in well. They can now fix things much quicker without worrying something else will break if they tweak the code (according to casters who tested the game a while back, the devs were able to change the character model movement overnight based on some of the feedback they gave). All cs players really asked for was 128 tick servers, a better anti cheat and for a smoother performance which they’ve done.
Keep in mind it’s still the beta, I’m sure now the game is running off newer tech they will be increasing the amount of updates the game gets.

I’m more of a CS guy than Val so use HLTV a little more and I’ve got to say, if you are a decent guy but have a Russian flag next to your name then good luck trying to have an opinion on anything without someone bringing up politics and immediately disregarding your opinion. It can be ruthless on HLTV

That’s why they’ve finally updated it. They knew their mm sucked and everyone played Faceit so they had to do something about the spaghetti code of Source 1 and make a new anti cheat

2-1 could go either way. Last map goes double OT.

I get that giving keys to people like Tarik and Shroud are great for getting eyes on the game, especially valorant eyes but it’s a crime to give them a key before people like war owl or voo - who have spent years making innovative cs content - or streamers like Ohne who is the face of csgo streamers

Ah okay thx, so it’s only the circuit points that depend on the other group.

Are DSG qualified already? Is it top 4 each group that qualify or is it top 8 out of everyone?

If they lose this game then there is no chance they beat FaZe, and they can't advance going 1-4 with Shopify winning

Who are the real paycheck stealers, a streamer supported mix or a team playing for an established org who are struggling to beat them.

More like OCEAN. The team owner isn’t the one who makes these kind of decision. Very surprised he was cut though, it’s not like he was playing that badly so it must be issues within the team ig

Almost certain he was poached, they qualified for the mid season playoff so I doubt they’d just cut a player. Especially being a streamer funded org with no sponsors, Toast might be rich but not rich enough to start cutting contracts short on a whim. I hope it’s C9
