I think japan is more than diverse already.

You have Russians , Koreans, japanese, Australian, Pinoy (bes) playing in vcj . They are more diverse than most apac subregions other than South Asia.

You guys don't get to talk about diversity in vct when vn regions are 100% vn players kr regions 100% kr players Th region 100% Th players.

posted 11 months ago

My bad.

posted 11 months ago

Its not stupid , it's too lenient in the case of vcj , because if the 3/5 rule doesn't exist then teams will deadass form a 5kr roster in jp

posted 11 months ago

Actually some members of jp community ( shitaraba) to my understanding aren't exactly happy with riot's decision either

posted 11 months ago

Nah it make sense because Mongolia is literally on top of cn

But other than geographically and infrastructure wise. No it doesn't make sense

posted 11 months ago

I think I'll get banned after this. But fuck you Jake sin, incompetent fuck. And you too kohei(30%).

posted 11 months ago

The rules changed mid split and no one told you guys. Fuck these ppl running the scene tbh

posted 11 months ago

Idk about that , cuz Mongolia are listed on turkiye which was stupid in on itself.

posted 11 months ago

But i thought they are listed on turkiye?

Basing on what ardy said. It seems like the while sp2 is happening mongolz and kobolds happened and riot was unprepared, that's why kobolds and mongolz are allowed to play . But somehow the rules change in sp3, no one fucking told mongolz, this has to be incompetence on both riot and riot jp

posted 11 months ago

Then how did kobolds managed to play in hktw despite them being all Mongolian??

Did riot changed the rule after sp2??

If so this is stupid miscommunication by riot

posted 11 months ago

Then this is hugely riot jp's and riot's fault.

It's mishap at best and incompetent at worse.

Did riot pacific not tell you guys about the rule change? I think these kinds of rules should be announced by riot regardless on its significance

posted 11 months ago

is he not?? How do you think he got his Japanese nationality in the first place?

posted 11 months ago

it seems like we're talking from a different viewpoint. Let me get this straight, he's legally japanese by blood and by paper. But for a player who didn't start their account in japan , didn't start their first pro game in japan, would you call him a Japanese player? I'm not saying he's not a Japanese citizen

posted 11 months ago

I FUCKING KNOW BRO. Look, Yotaa has been playing in the french region for so long . He's recognized by EMEA region as a local there. And then he went to Japan and all of a sudden he's a Japanese player??? So you're a VCJ player and VCL France player at the same time?? The rule exists across pacific man. When he comes back to france he will be considered an import.

You can't pull "racist" card onto everything man istg

posted 11 months ago

The rules are there in the first place , blaming everything onto Japan is just unfair.

posted 11 months ago

That numbers is saving the region in the long run. Besides the rules are there in the first place, Scarz got a lot of shit for the bullshit they pulled in sp2, I don't see why Mongolz should get a preferential treatment

posted 11 months ago

He's not local bro, he played in the french scene. He's local to the french. it''s not racism .
When your league has less than 70% local players while everyone else is calling local players shit in the league I loved. YEah my opinion about imports ain't gonna be so pretty . But it's not racist for sure.

posted 11 months ago

Huh??? how is this Racism??? He never touched the server prior to playing in VCJ. That's it ok nothing more nothing less. I basicallysaid that Yotaa is Japanese and you're calling me racist? Do you want me to call Yotaa Chinese instead?

posted 11 months ago

Yotaa played for EMEA basically his whole life before moving to VCJ. he's Japanese by blood sure, but he ain't local.

posted 11 months ago

Tell that to Jake Sin who didn't want to create a new region just for them . besides, it's VCJ and the J is "Japan", I don't get what do you mean by representation when none of the imports are supposed to be there in the first place, japan has more than enough imports and the situation is bad that it could ruin the scene in the long run.

posted 11 months ago

Yeah, they left valorant entirely , Blackwiz went to Noez Foxx and there's o new about the rest.

posted 11 months ago

Nah bro because that's unfair to Scarz who literally had to abuse a loophole in the import rules. I'll put my takes further wait.

This situation has to be because of bad miscommunication, Riot Jp failed to inform Mongolz the risk of playing in Jp premier, but at the same time Mongolz ain't this indie org who just touched esports for the first time , For scarz roster prior to disbandment , Fadezis had to find the rules that would allow Lumo and TIxx to play while Yotaa and Yoshii are in the team. Mongolz failed their job and so did Riot Jp

posted 11 months ago

Oh you mean advanced phase. The thing is it's bound for next week but none of the teams ( RC, Nth, SZ and Varrel ( disbanded)) even made roster changes yet. Unless they have formed a team prior to their announcement I think the competition in sp3 will be a bit weaker

posted 11 months ago

I think they need to open a new region that's mongolia + east russia. But for politics sake just name them as VCL Mongolia

posted 11 months ago

Wdym by relegated?

posted 11 months ago

There's 6 members in mongolz and none of them bothered to read the rules πŸ˜…

Look, i feel bad for them but a part of me is also relieved.

posted 11 months ago

Apparently the mongolz aren't allowed to play in VCJ because they missed the basic rule of" minimum 3 japanese " roster.

Context: the mongolz won premier playoff in vcj

On one hand I feel bad for them, on the other hand why didn't you read the rules in the first place πŸ˜‚.

posted 11 months ago

πŸ€“actually you forgot T1 too, but yeah this is bad bait

Wrong answer πŸ€“ , beyblade's distribution in the west are handed over to hasbro πŸ€“

He's definitely a villain in the making for sure. If he somehow comes out of this fiasco still as humble person , then Yay is the second coming of jesus.

Either he returns as the greatest villain of all time or the 2nd jesus

Wanna hear some weeby music πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

posted 11 months ago

That makes sense actually. I think the problem is in both the org( financially)and riot ( system)πŸ’€

posted 11 months ago

As in Academy teams being allowed to play in T2? that's just unfair for other t2 orgs.

posted 11 months ago

Welp shit I might be wrong the entire time πŸ’€

posted 11 months ago

It's actually sensible. But still not sustainable, it might solve emea's case ( cmiiw), but other regions are not so. For apac( korea) aside from Japan, hktw, ph , and Korea, there's still a lot of money to be paid. The same goes for AMERICAS , I actually have no idea about CN.

posted 11 months ago

I guess it comes to the scene itself, jp region does this better than anyone, this is why jp's viewership ( even on just on official twitch and yt already surpasses every t2 scene) is so huge.

Other region's should start leveraging this tbh

posted 11 months ago

Lol actually they do win money, but all of that probably gets negated by their high wage expenses πŸ’€

posted 11 months ago

Actually, the players might have it good if riot actually set a standard.

But riot definitely fail at marketing it's tier 2

posted 11 months ago

What's wrong with usa having many immigrants?

posted 11 months ago

question:
Did riot actually set a standard on t2 orgs on how much orgs should pay their players? I had a feeling the standard is too high for orgs to follow.

Is valorant the only esport where communities are complaining about t2 being underfunded? Or csgo has it worse?

A very quick summary on why NA DSG broke : Yay is too competitive ( the clip is where he's "malding" is just him being serious), G0nghsta and St00l are POS to put it lightly , team with that kind of mentality would end up no where even without Yay. G0nghsta's screenshots of Yay "bribing " had no evidence other than a few lines of discord chat. Hell G0nghsta said it himself he's just a plain hater

You're confusing the drama surrounding Yay with Egoist's departure. besides, it would make much more sense if you say Sscary or Sscary and Yay are the reason Egoist retire, but you didn't and therein lies the problem, sscary beefed with crazyguy first , not yay. Btw if egoist retired just because of this, hot take but I think he's not really suited for competitive scene.

So what do you mean by compensation πŸ˜…

posted 11 months ago

Crazyguy riled the VN community up btw, why are you talking as if Yay deliberately summoned his fans? I'm sure the VN community would love to defend this guy. Crazyguy isn't being scapegoated btw, both are just as bad. yay had his fans and crazyguy had his VN compatriots. You're basically doing the same thing as Yay defenders but you defended crazyguy

Nah, I'm not saying it's weird or anything. Just making sure there's no misunderstanding. I like her nerdiness, even tho sometimes I didn't really follow what she's talking about ( mb lol ). It's definitely much better than having to read the same topic on different thread every day πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
