Nah the context doesn't explain why that happened, I dont think there needs to be any context, it's just a huge blunder by the management

Based on last ascension's results, if you qualified to playoff you get a bye if you don't then it sucks.
People have been complaining about last year's tournament format, but apparently to make it a full double elimination this is the " fairest" way to do so, so the community is partly to blame here too
Did you change flag on purpose๐. There's still time to edit that bro
Nah it's easy to counter that that's why I had to pull up the FAV matches ๐
I see, it really is better to rank them based on location
Tanmay should put his sources bro....
That one time Leo Faria fact checked him still lingers on mind ๐
Ain't no way blast is on the same level as betboom. At least blast is above the rest but below IEM

Reminder that FAV never Even qualified to jp t2 main stage
You should, I actually like it that part lol, especially when I've played a few ff games alr( I really should have finish each ff iteration first before starting another one ๐), it definitely felt like a breath of fresh air.
Compared to ff I think chrono trigger is relatively short. But it's still long regardless.
Chrono trigger
I want to recommend snes final fantasy games(4 5 6) but I can't do that when I haven't finished them yet ๐
Their BGMs are so good bro๐ฅ
Sengoku , Reject , Murash and FAV will be competing redbull homeground phase 3.
Meaning that sengoku will make an announcement this month
Now that I think about it gatorada never smiles lol. Even his pose are basically a joke from that fact ๐
I think DH will somehow end up in SG
Bold of you to assume that RA will let him go just like that.
Only 1 are allowed, if RA win the whole thing they had to release 1 of them.
I was thinking of putting souldjp on honorable mention too, but I think I'll wait for a little while more. Overall I think amoris vega might be cooking with both sould and hero.๐ฅ
I will glaze japanese players who are barely or never noticed by the ccommunity.or who I think will make it big in the future.

I'm confused rn, I can't find killaa's contract tweet, did he delete it? Or the deals off?
Bro hiroronn was signed to zeta because of his performance on sentinel role, he was forced playing initiator only to be allowed to play sentinel at the last moment when they were eliminated already.
Zeta gave him the wrong roles and now he's being cut unfairly..
Man I actually hope they'll evaluate tf out of dfm too..
The animations are not boring, but it's definitely not for everyone in my opinion
Fair enough, but there are many cases where the players are forced to be too flexible/ forced a role different from what he used to play Cough cough Northeption
I think nepotism is one of the many types of percieved value
It's big in Japan I know that for sure, but they are mismanagements away from turning into another apex ( the game used to be popular but now is a shell of it's former self cmiiw, but it's still popular tho)
Moneyball is a great movie.
I think coach is less affected by this distinction precisely because they are akin to billy beane ( obviously coaches thinks subjectively too, but they had the first hand looking at the players in tryouts, scrims etc)
I think there should be a distinction between a players "value" and "percieved value".
I'll define both of terms as follows:
Value = a player's overall quality in game (overall impacts, frags, midrounding skills, etc) and outside the game ( monetary value, compatibily , adaptability, linguistic skills, etc)
Usually when people are talking about value a huge emphasis are placed on the in-game aspect while sometimes aspects that are outside the game are talked about as well.
Perceieved value = How people see you as a player, this includes whether people think you're good or not, how you impact the team, why people think you are important to the team or why people think you should join a team. Ultimately this is your brand.
A percieved value includes several states:
A percieved value should have been clear cut and in an ideal state there shouldn't have been a distinction between both terms, but:
Ultimately, I think it is very important for the players especially those in Tier 2 and below to take care of their percieved value, since mismanagement can hurt their career in the long run.

Idk tho, I've been here 24/7 for months now(its unhealthy i know ๐), there's very few discussions about T2 from pacific fans except that one time they called out Jake sin for his silly decision
That's not a map pool that's a list of maps....
Might be wrong tho, but
EMEA users tend to talk about their tier 2 a lot which I very appreciate of them doing so.
AMERICAS users sometimes talk about it but not always.
PACIFIC is the worst because it's very hard to find someone actually talks or open a thread talking about it..
I have no idea about China fans tho
....I should get a life๐
He's the igl and I don't think there's many who can igl so I think he will stay lol
Currently lft korean players(that will likely land on a jp team) are
Gangpin, DH, Akame Jinboong Gwangboong and LOB.
It's safe to say that either fennel or sengoku are signing koreans.
Uodate: Gangpin has sign a contract. I'm smelling some recycling here ๐
What's worse is they have Satoshi in academy team all this time and proceeded to never use him, look who's qualifying to the main stage now ๐
I've said this before pegging "2 imports" rule as a standard for every tier 2 is a mistake, because it offers short term success rather than the long term.
It should've been adjustable.
But I understand why riot is afraid to do that.
Scarz was too impatient with the roster, they've kicked out tixx and lumo for adrnking and ejay and look at the results ๐.
Also if they keep abusing the loophole eventually Kohei or someone at riot jp will keep scarz in check ( I hope so)
Unfortunately putting b1sk on perma chamber hurts the team more, which makes it riskier to get him( unless his willing to learn sentinel role),
Vookashu never had to comm in Chinese because the whole team will be comming with him in English (it's not just drg) ,but that's a fair point.
Lol I'm not really an expert, I just spent way too much hours looking at vlr stats Twitter clips and valtracker๐
Tbf if b1sk joined in 2021 it could've worked, but sadly now it's 2024 ๐
Not really , reject is grinding in premier rn, the only team that's pulling out is varrel and they have been rumored to do so for quite some time now. Other than that there's not really anyone leaving.
Northeption still retains their coach , so you might see b1sk end up there. But with the current flow of local players it's dumb for nth to sign b1sk while ignoring the current talents. But then you have to understand that b1sk can't speak japanese and most jp player's English aren't sufficient for comms. So it's a risky move for nth, because if you signed b1sk, your priorities change from getting a good player to getting players that can speak english
T2 are broke as it is, ain't no way riot is willing to burn more money.
Back to grinding in emea, it's not like everything's over for him, I still have faith in this guy.
Even if carlao can speak japanese , they will still lose to dfm if his strats involve putting hiroronn on initiator anyways๐.
Idk how zainichis really think of themselves but anthem is a zainichi and he's representing japan as can be seen from his vlr and liquipedia page
You know what it's not 24 , some teams actually go with 1 korean, some teams that are known to import ( blue bees) actually go full japanese and they're actually killing it, this is a good improvement from the previous split. Now I'm slightly happy again ๐
I should be happy that more teams means more japanese players are getting the spotlight, but then I found out that some of the players that I've been looking at apparently are korean now I'm slightly disappointed ๐.
Idk abt premier tho, to me it sucked a lot for japan because orgs with better clout and Financials will get imports (there'snot even any guaranteethat they'll do good), thank God this is no longer the case.
So it's hard to see any breakout players, not to mention advance phase are oftentimes barely streamed which makes things worse for japanese players, do you know how many hours I've spent at twitter clips, vlr stats and valtracker just to look for some breakout players from Japan? ๐๐
Look I'm not sure whether things have improved for korean t2 or not , but korea cannot sustain themselves, legit the only thing that got them going (from my eyes) are the talent pool that they have.
Not to mention they pay lower wages compared to japan and now everyone moves to japan, it sucks for Japan's developing scene
If you don't want to be robbed then don't buy it???
Move forward the next 10 years and ppl are pirating from indies...
You guys are setting a precedent which ultimately harms everyone involved, I mean you're pirating their product even though you know that the company is being a shitty employer is like youre against killing animals but would eat them. ( Idk if you're vegan or not but it's just an analogy)
Stealing is stealing, shoplifting in Walmart is being looked down upon and I don't see why we should make this an exemption, it seems like this "piracy= morally right" thing is just for convenience sake.
A company being wrong in whatever shit that they do doesn't make you right.
I'm not even saying people can't do it anyways, I'm just saying people are deluding themselves into thinking they're some kind of vigilantes or something
Last year's trailer clears unfortunately
