I've seen these sorts of discussions a number of times. But I think the right question is, if orgs aren't representing the region they're supposed to, then wouldn't it be better for Riot to just sign another org in the first place?

In this case , why should Riot partner with Lev in the first place when LEV just ends up signing NA players which countless amount of NA orgs can do

Scarz. You can tell this team is sooooooo stuck in 2023. 3 imports and washed players in 2025. Just from their roster moves and management it's easy to tell they prefer to play outside of japan but the rest of the scene is just so cloutless that Scarz would bleed infinite amount of money just by playing there.

His performance is never the problem, but the language barrier is. Everyone fights for a spot in tier 1, even when we consider DFM who historically imports players, why should they pick yoshii over someone else who is better or equal to yoshii but can speak Japanese.

You need to consider he's been here for 3 years. roster changes around him but he remains to be unable to speak Japanese, if he wants to be taken seriously then he should start learning that or else he's just going to end up in tier 2 unless T1 orgs outside of Zeta and DFM picked him.

To give you an idea why I never liked Yoshii, almost all of the imports in VCJ can speak Japanese, but him despite being half-Japanese can't even speak one. He's more import than most imports in Japan
