Can someone explain the phone stuff to me, cause it doesn't make sense in my head. I am no florescent fan.
Florescent changing her password at the door to protect her address makes no sense. It feels like the only reason it's in the story is to validate why she couldn't get home on her own. If you wanted to protect your address and where you live, you wouldn't invite someone to your house. But instead, go somewhere else, like a hotel. If she changes her password, I assume she's gotta change it back at some point. So what's stopping this Brick from checking her location the exact second she leaves in the Uber? What stopped her from checking on the way here? It's an Uberable distance from Brick's home, so couldn't Brick just be familiar with the location in general? Why would Brick not point that out to her and willingly give her the password to her phone? I'm assuming this is the first time they are meeting, but when and who has instantly given their password for a device to someone the first time they meet?
