Yay of course

posted 7 months ago

Let yay cook, he is waiting for the rosters to build up a bit. Then he will just take the spot of tex, n4rrate or anyone lol. He doesn't even need to be trialed, he is the best out there.

posted 7 months ago

If I remember correctly, I think the condition is that 3/5 players have to stick together and find an organization to make it to tier 1. Otherwise yeah, it doesn't seem like a good idea to split up.

posted 7 months ago

Yay has been grinding with Raze in ranked. Trent also plays raze on bind I think.

posted 7 months ago

What could be a winning roster if they go with FNS and s0m?
+Yay
+trent

This is actually a great list. Cloud and Trexx are surely one of the best, just need a good team. But I think for this team to work, FNS or Saadhaak are a must.

Sadge, guess Liquid isn't winning then.

Want Paper Rex to win this so that Loud can beat Fnatic and we get a PRX vs Loud final. PRX probably won't be able to beat Fnatic otherwise. It's boring to watch Fnatic win at this point.

idk what you ate before typing this, probably crack but okay.

He means disloyal, gold digging and self-condescending women that throw themselves at anyone just for attention. No wonder NA is full of dysfunctional families with each generation getting worse. And what bro is forgetting is that their women have started to identify as men kekw.

I heckin miss yay

posted 10 months ago

Zyppan on 7th and Boaster on 10th too, Fnatic really seems like a tier above all other teams.

An account with Pakistani flag just to write this one comment lol. Get a life. And the 'v' is lavde proves you're Indian.

Jakee might feel pressured playing against Marved, the games could go either way. I'd give a slight edge to runi over dephh in terms of calling. Leaf is of course going to leaf all over SEN. But apart of dephh, SEN has S-Tier players and Kaplan being the coach now seems like a huge W.
Either SEN 2-1 C9 or C9 2-0 SEN.

posted 11 months ago

NRG seems to have put each player back to their original role, before the KRU match I would've said 100T 2-1 NRG but now I feel like it would be NRG 2-1 100T. FNS clears Stellar.

posted 11 months ago

That team had been barely together for of couple of weeks when that happened and they still made it to the finals.

posted 11 months ago

Calm down lil bro, C9 only lost to DRX when yay was playing. Even then he was the only one positive in the team. L take.

Aint no way you called Navi trash.
Maybe The Guard vs Team Heretics would be clash of trash but not this.

posted about a year ago

Exposed because they'll get completely shit on by Loud, they aren't making it to Tokyo anyways so C9 is just dead at this point. The main reason why I think they got runi and jakee is because they realized that they aren't winning anything this year no matter who they recruit because they trolled the roles hard in the first place. Now they just want to survive on a minimum cost roster till next year.

posted about a year ago

Because he was a Chamber/Jett/Cypher player before.
He even recently went 25/10 and 24/12 against FUT on Jett. One bad game doesn't mean anything.

posted about a year ago

C9 vs EG probably made C9 look way better than they are to some people. But I guess they get exposed here.

Yeah, unfortunately most people don't know how to look at stats in the presence of various variables. For most it's just about who won the tournament, who won some non-repeatable clutches or who hits the craziest flicks.

You're right about the stats, sayf was on top in Copenhagen even though he was on the losing team: https://www.vlr.gg/stats/?event_group_id=all&event_id=1014&series_id=all&region=all&country=all&min_rounds=200&min_rating=1550&agent=all&map_id=all&timespan=all

Higher Rating, K/D, ADR, ACS, KPR on 4 different agents than Yay who only played Chamber.
Pretty sure yay would have 0 achievements too if he was still on Andbox. It's a team game, you can't judge performance of individuals based on achievements.

Don't even bother leaving a comment next time. If you don't have anything nice or meaningful to say then don't say anything at all.

Sayf said it himself on stream: https://youtu.be/jXcdmV25lIA

I don't see the problem with importing players. If someone is good then why not make them an offer? Most e sports teams aren't even profitable so winning is a big thing for them. The prize pool is usually decent, have a larger fan base afterwards which results in more revenue generated from their content and merchandise.
It's not only about hitting crazy shots with operator. Many players have far better mix of consistency, timings, util usage, team play and game knowledge which can't be replicated easily.

posted about a year ago

hahaha... it might be a bit exaggerated but lets see. There isn't enough content out there on Sayf so people don't really get to see how good he is. I think Yay went negative for the first time when playing against Guild. Even NRG made an offer to Sayf before Ardiis to replace Yay which definitely means something. Sentinels made an offer to him too. The Acend roster also ranked him as the 2nd best player in EMEA after Nukkye.
P.s I've been a Yay and nAts fan since Envy and Gambit and I still think Yay is still the best player right now.

posted about a year ago

I think people are underestimating Liquid in this tournament. I know they haven't been together for a long time like other teams but the team just seems to have a lot of potential. It's almost a super-team at this point.

Sayf is probably the player that comes closest to Yay.
nAts is just nAts. He hasn't played for a while so people might have forgotten how insane he is.
Redgar is a top-tier IGL with decent mechanics too.
Jamppi is cracked.
Soulcas might be the weakest one here but he's still a really good player imo.
And then of course eMIL, the brother of doombros, he is a top tier coach too for sure.

It seems a bit unlikely for them to win Lock-in but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, given the fact that in Valorant any team can beat any other team when least expected. Anyways, in the future, I definitely see them sticking together and hopefully winning an event.

posted about a year ago

Yeah, he had fairly decent success while on the 100T roster. I mean sure he doesn't have top-tier mechanics but it's common for a lot of top-tier IGLs like FNS, Ange1 etc. Also, I think Steel is on par with Vanity in terms of mechanics but his ability to adapt and change strategies during the game way stronger. I remember the 100T 3-11 comeback against Gambit and Acend, even his "run away from cNed" strat worked really well.

posted about a year ago

Yeah, in the last round on icebox where he was last alive in the 1v3, see his face-cam. He just took a deep sigh and seemed to be really disappointed in the team.

posted about a year ago

I would honestly think Steel would be a good replacement. Vanity is a good IGL but once he is even a little tilted, his decision making just goes off and accepts defeat. Steel was like this too but he has improved a lot, he is also quite creative and comes up with new ways of playing the game. I also wasn't a fan of C9 picking up Zellsis, I think some better players were available. Personally I'd pick DSG Clear over Zellsis, it would have been a gamble but that guy looks insane and seems to have a lot of potential.

He is not there yet but we can all agree that he's on his way. Anyone who thinks he is not the best player in the tournament so far must be high on some insane amount of Copium.
