imo, it’d be boring as hell if all 8 teams were exactly what everyone predicted. now bangkok has a huge underdog, and if they can even show a glimpse of being able to hang with the big teams, then that creates hype for a team that no one expected.
i hate the trend of people saying “oh this team sucks, this is a fluke run” just because they didn’t perform the year prior and ignoring the roster and system changes they made

it was a very difficult process. riots initial decision was that no team would ascend that year (clearly would have been a huge mistake) but the community was very upset so they made an exception for tgrd

his playstyle doesn’t allow for much teamplay so in a tournament that focuses on who’s the best team it makes sense to not try him out

from what i’ve heard, kaajak hasn’t been bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement
if he can’t perform consistently then i can see him getting dropped by the end of the year and going to kc or something
