ive been playing some games on my silver alt account and idk what happened with the rank reset but i have been getting absolutely steamrolled. in my opinion silver is actually harder than ascendant right now because when you're in silver smurfs can be many different ranks (plat, diamond, etc.) while when you're in ascendant smurfs can only be one rank (radiant) and theres not even that many radiants, therefore meaning that you're gonna face way more challenging opponents in silver.
ive literally won like one total game this whole week and im thinking of giving up and switching to rocket league which would be a shame since ive been playing this game since beta. riot games please do something about these smurfs and matchmaking issues before you lose a lifelong player.

as someone from NA vct americas is literally the valorant equivalent to ligue 1 like there's one good team (G2) and the rest are all superbly mid and unless youre somehow a superfan of any of the remaining teams (in which case i feel very sorry for you) theres literally no reason to watch any other game.

as a T1 fan since 2019 i have watched through countless rosters and i think its safe to say that the weakest link in this current T1 team is Meteor. its common knowledge that Meteor didnt accomplish anything meaningful in his years at GenG which is why he joined T1 but now he's just dragging down world class players and generational talents like BuZz and iZu. i think i speak for ALL of us T1 fans when i say that we are done with Meteor and would much rather have a TRUE Korean pro like Jinboong on the team.

after carefully examining T1's gameplay i think its safe to say that sylvan was the problem. now that T1 have replaced him with DH (a fragger who can actually hit shots) I expect T1's mental to be at an all time high and for them to steamroll their way to - dare I say - a Champions trophy. i wish sylvan all the best on whatever tier six valorant team he ends up on but im happy T1 is back in form.
