Thats what im saying. People seem to forget that demon1 was litterally the BEST player itw last year and won champs on brim and astra. Hes suffering from bad chem and igl similar to cryo last year. If any igl can activate him like boostio did with cryo its fns.
he knew shanghai is probably gonna be the least viewed event (region times are ass for everyone but asia and he has the least amount of asian viewers) and the teams their are ass as well. He also knows that all his fans want him back in pro play, and if his team does well hes seen as the savior and the goat, but if they do bad they say that he couldnt fixed it all/didnt have enough time and chem/its chets fault (probably true)-so he wont get blamed no matter what and his stocks can only rise.
IMO if fns does end up back I dont see NRG being top 3 americas, maybe they somehow make it to champs but thats a big maybe (and even then theyll prob get grouped). But this is part of FNS plan, he has men on the inside now and can make his perfect team, since the org went with victor/crashies instead of him and they failed so bad. its almost like valorant is a team based game and the best players thrive in a good system, something that was clearly not present in any team yay has been on since optic. Look at the difference between Cryo last year vs this year, tenz in 23 vs 24, or cned on navi vs fut. Everyone (including me) called all these players washed but they made HUGE comebacks to their primes when put on a team where they have good chem, and an igl and coach can utilize them. Yay just needs someone like that too, as does everyone else struggling due to bad enviorment (all of NRG comes to mind)

because the nerfs were too much. The only reason they nerfed him that much and why you think that is because everyone hates him so much from when he was meta. His trap is usless on almost every map, his ult is way too many ult points for a normal op, his headhunter is only good on eco rounds, which isnt even a thing anymore since they cost so much. His tp is decent but is very inflexible, the only reason he still gets play is because players used to be good on him
