Found two teams that are full of challengers players, one is the mid phase guys that have been re named on VLR, another team that is technically OREsports core from after challengers. Odd that both teams have been renamed on VLR even though neither of these teams have played a match under these teams names and neither of these teams played in the open qualifier.
Just went and looked at the Backoutsideboys team to get the link and they had a full roster on there team page yesterday and now the players have been removed. This was the mid phase team with Screwface and seven instead of corey and NaturE. Could just be VLR messing up IDK.

Saw Jack's comment as i was writing this out.
It is correct, 6 teams got invited back to play and 6 teams come from open qualifiers. 4 teams from open qual 1 and 2 teams from open qual 2. We don't know 2 of the teams coming back from last year. Faze core? TSM Core? New Org? Who knows. I wouldn't be surprise if one of those cores back out last minute or something happens and knights end up having to take an extra team from open qualifier 2 to move up to challengers.
10 teams plus 1 team from ascension so 11 total just like all the other regions.
I believe it would stay MxS, Ludwig said one of the reasons they teamed up was Moist wasnt gonna be able to afford the housing etc if they made it through ascension so they needed the Shopify money to be able to actual be in tier 1

10 Partnered Teams plus one team from ascension that's gonna happen in December
16 team leagues, 12 partnership teams that will always kept there spots, the last 4 spots are teams from ascension that fight to stay in t1.
So top 2 teams out of the 4 keep there spot in t1 and bottom 2 teams go to relegation and play the top 2 teams from ascension.

Off season should be about 4 months, Aug 26th champions will end then early January or even December the first split for 2024 should start.

Starting in 2026 riot has said they will have two teams from ascension go into the international league. They have this all planned out so starting in 2027 there will be 14 teams in each international league. With them having everything planned out years and years in advance I doubt we get any change to the current system other than adding a 4th international league being China.

Most of teams from last VRL are already locked into challengers for that region. Seems like there will be 16-20 teams in the ascension tournament at the end of the year so 10 challengers league for emea so 1-2 teams out of each challengers league will go to ascension. Will probably just be the top teams from split 2 go to ascension and split 1 will just be relegation like before. Bottom 2 teams from split 1 will have to go to regulation to keep there spot in challengers.
They got in from last years circuit points. NIP got invited but decided to leave Valorant so Liberty took that spot.
