SR VS C9, C9 has always beaten SR in NA, consistently, but SR beat them this time in the championship and SR coach in his excitement flipped off C9 (not the best reaction ngl, questionable celebration), and riot decided to make it so the coach cant participate in the finals, so SR had to play iwth assistent coach or smth, and got reverse sweeped bt G2 Gozen, and lost pretty soundly in the final 3 maps and kinda looked mentally boomed as the maps went on. A lot of people believed that SR would have benefitted greatly from having the actual coach there to help them in the timeouts. Is it cope? a bit yea. Would they have won? hard to say, probably not, but the score would have been closer imo.
