eh last time they faced each other vic won the sentinel battle, barely won on sunset and won by a LOT on ascent. however vic was getting massive value on atk sunset by opening up the site as fucking cypher somehow 'cause he would constnatly get on b site and help nrg get in after the initial skirmish.
2022 gave up optic vs loud, the el classico, and imo that's why it was the best year

zekken and tenz did in fact JUST cleared demon1, they each cleared him on 2 maps. demon1 should still be considered a good player but his performance recently did not look as good as he did in the past

62/47, 58/47, 52/20, 26/35, 38/31, 71/47, 41/34, 37/24, 50/21, those are her kda in the open quals, most of these are pretty darn good except the 1, she had the highest acs in the server except twice, which were the 26/35 and 37/24, even against winthrop university who ended up qualing she had the highest acs in the server. at minimum stats wises she's toe to toe with the people that are good enough in tier 2 or are you gonna say these numbers dont mean shit?
blinn esports' entire team are def tier 2 worthy, sonofcar who was insane, harmful, sym (who was amazing in challengers last year), ambosia def had some players that are t2 level same with lucky 7, saying there arent good players that didnt win quals or hired by bigger orgs is stupid as fuck given how many amazing players there are in the t2 scene
a lot of good players didnt win quals, doesnt mean that specific player is bad. if you actually looked at the matches they lost flor was only negative in one of those matches, she wasnt the issue lol
second qual they did bad yeah but first qual they lost to a team that did qual and a team that was 1 map away from qualing lol, that's not bad

eh, people are annoyed that NRG could have 2-0ed if either ethan or demon1 were actually getting kills on sunset, understandable. Ethan got 1 kill on atk side which is objectively awful

the reason they beat loud so soundly is because without a jett loud cant create space onto site nearly as effectively (also cant dash past the odins), but against a normal comp the strats to specifically counter phoenix and breach and viper wouldnt work nearly as well
technically yes 'cause if he hit shots on the first map it wouldnt have even went to map 3
potter is THE X factor and given time she might be able to counter just about everyone, she's like goddamned batman. but rn with not that much focused prep i think lev probably wins since the only map eg took off of loud is one with the super obvious hard counter strat

hard to say tbh, maybe 100T but lev is still good imo. They pushed Loud on the first 2 maps and kinda got screwed on ascent but that's due to loud's weird comp. against a standard ascent comp they should look better. eg did HEAVY and very successfully counterstrat loud ascent but kinda got rolled later on.

im just a fan of the optic core and always will be
the thing about marved is that he's an aggressive lurker, and sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesnt, risk vs reward. overall he was perfectly fine today. he only had 2 first deaths as solo smoke so it's not that big of an issue. he can just play less aggressive if necessary. Crashies marved and vic were all good on sunset kill wise, vic was getting into site better than demon1 was.
NRG's split today was fucking awful. that's an objective fact. a lot of unforced errors. skye on sunset is also not it anymore, yall have 2 good initiators use them, put ethan on kayo 'cause he's good on that and maybe only that, crashies can do sova or fade or gekko probably
