"All of old FPX/NAVI in 2024"

if we count that we can surely talk about GMB -> M3C or are the cases different here?
and idk if D3ffo counts but he wasnt doing great in tier 2 china

TL PLEEEEAAAASSEEE PICK UP KR1STAL

posted 10 months ago

What do you think XLGs strongest points are that make them better than 2G and Apeks

posted 10 months ago

1.) Calling it china is the issue, I said mainland china because thats what the region is currently recognised as
2.1) Much easier to drop a korean/jpn team than a chinese team right now
2.2) That is untrue, A TW player assigned to pacific, cannot play in china without being an import vice versa is true
2.3) Which TW player assigned to pacific plays in china tier 1? I genuinely dont know. also are you in support for africa in america then? also india doesnt have a full PC market either, the only real reason we have any tier 1 india players is because there are indian orgs in tier 1 and they dont even have a majority of Indian players.
3.) Changing whether they play in what region shouldnt be for ease of convience but political belief
4.) So a taiwanese player who thinks they are part of the PRC is allowed to be picked up by a taiwanese org but other PRC players are not allowed to play in that same taiwanese org?

posted 10 months ago

When all the tier 1 rosters get announced I think I will make a google form for people to answer to see who people generally think are superstar players or not

posted 10 months ago

may I ask why you dislike 2G

posted 10 months ago

yeah this ranking seems the most consistent out of all the responses ive been getting

posted 10 months ago

Defining a star player is difficult
whats the metric?

  • Achievement? Pretty inaccurate overall
  • Stats? Very inaccurate
  • Eye test? Heavily subjective and will only have arguments the more in the middle a player is
  • What about igls? are they measured differently? For example boaster and fns are known to be great igls but frag terribly. (if you say both are star players, how about the IGLS who we dont know how much they help the team? what happens?

so overall I say no to this proposal

posted 10 months ago

1.) The difference in the naming policy is the political aspect, saying a taiwanese org plays in "mainland china" isnt great

2.1) I would rather put an OCE and TW roster in pacific than in china. The unique import rule is way to messy and specific of a system, you pretty much are introducing OCE and TW as a new region that just so happens to have competition against china.
2.2) OCE and TW players would now be the only areas where they are allowed to play in two different regions and not count as import
2.3) If diversity is what you call for does that mean you want an African team in china as well? In my head adding TW and OCE to china makes just as much sense as adding africa to china

3.) All those things about taiwanese orgs and playerbase take place in the pacific region. A taiwanese player register themselves as either part of pacific or china, then they can only partake in that region. So if a taiwanese player chose pacific as the region they count as, they can only play in pacific and if they go into china or any other region they would be an import player. Meaning Riot does have a separation for the ROC and the PRC

4.) Is the taiwanese org in your hypothetical allowed to pick up all taiwanese players? or only the ones who believe taiwan is its own country and pick pacific as their region. Because that would cause massive problems as well

posted 10 months ago

SPG went flawless in ascension uptill the GF where they lost 2 maps. 2G and XLG lost to m80 and RA in the same tournament. Apeks also did hella choking in the EMEA GF and werent dominant in emea t2. so overall, yeah I believe SPG up there in terms of deserving

posted 10 months ago

"the nile" aka denial

he is saying you are in denial

posted 10 months ago

SPG is up there in terms most deserved

for me its probably

Apeks > SPG > 2G > XLG

posted 10 months ago

I mean you cant really call the region china anymore

also politically doesnt stand too well
Riot right now lets the player choose whether taiwan is the ROC or part of the PRC
but adding a taiwanese team to a region called "china" with 8 other mainland chinese teams, well you can tell it wouldnt sit too well
Another problem is that OCE players would now count as imports in the pacific region

with all that I dont think its a route riot would even consider it

posted 10 months ago

I believe with the correct roster moves they should expect to achieve similar results

posted 10 months ago

I cant even find his profile on vlr or liquidpedia anymore :(

posted 10 months ago

hope the bottom teams of china can improve fast so every conversion doesnt end with yeah "x chinese team is probably the worst"

posted 10 months ago

woah this scrim news is something I havent heard of

posted 10 months ago

idk where thisisformygurl went either, hope someone picks him up

posted 10 months ago

I did it based off their full roster in tier 2 considering we dont even know the possible replacements and if kajaak is even leaving apeks (which I dont believe is confirmed)

posted 10 months ago

it appears Ive underrated apeks quite a bit, It might just be my narrow belief of the lack of firepower except for kaajak who didnt do great on his first LAN

posted 10 months ago

results wise I disagree, I think there are plenty of good replacements for smokes and intiator role in americas

Branding wise, yeah its gonna be tough

posted 10 months ago

Ive watched very little tier 2 but in my opinion it would be

2G > SPG > Apeks > XLG

but again ive barely watched tier 2

posted 10 months ago

he is good but I wouldnt say "really good" def tier 1 level but like out of the 60 players in emea tier 1, I would put him in the 25-35 range

posted 10 months ago

every really good igl has had a super team to win

posted 10 months ago

yeah yeah thats why I said I read your comment

posted 10 months ago

EDG vs TH

DRX vs FPX
was a great shout

PRX vs EG (upper final > finals)
just goated what can I say

Koi vs NAVI (2023 regular season split)

Username = Cloudberry

Why = Every time I interact with them, they are always positive and have a nice vibe + he likes my youtube :D + W updates for rostermania

posted 10 months ago

he has a munchkin/boaster type of igling where he likes to micromanage everyones action during a round and still puts up good relative numbers and great vibes during the games, so I think he is up there in terms of just igling too

posted 10 months ago

yays stats were leagues above him competition, that year he 100% deserved esports player of the year

posted 10 months ago

EDG nobody when viewed in terms of all aspects is a top 5 igl

posted 10 months ago

kr1stal already agreed to leave prior to joining the team, probably thought he already knew he had his chances in tier 1 emea since there is a lack of igls

posted 10 months ago

kr1stal most likely left then being kicked

posted 10 months ago

they most likely didnt actually kick him

posted 10 months ago

80% sure this wasnt xlgs decision
