RIP this... what the heck is being done to fix the problem now? Don't act like Riot can't just throw money at it to fix the problem.

I think we have to analyze the loss to ENVY to understand this move.
That and probably something in those comeback wins against ACEND and GAMBIT, which may have been won after they said "fuck it" to Steel's calling/setups and went full pub on the maps.

In Valorant, you either call super fast changes or hard setups need to be flawless (at least to catch an initial 1 or 2 kills, to provide a lead that is hard to counter). And usually on defensive teams (and because of age alone 100T has to be more defensive/passive) you are forced to react faster than other games would require. 100T could not counter the loss of one player in matches against Jett OPs, so I am guessing they need more individual skill and faster calling/IGL-ing.

Someone else also mentioned how 100T could not get good trades as they peeked one by one many times, and that is fixable by training and also having a better IGL.

As a fan, I just hope that 100T is indeed the best team NA, DESPITE Steel, and not BECAUSE of Steel. Perhaps Steel lacked the ability to make them win over Envy, or was not the cause they won over GMB/AC.
