who says sova is a troll pick on bind? It may not be meta, but it wasn't long ago that teams were using him on bind, maybe redgar feels more comfortable on sova than on fade and it may have screwed with acend's preparation as well, who knows
off meta picks pay out if your rival doesn't expect it and omen on bind is really down to preference, the paranoia has amazing value and you can play with the tps as well

there's no reason to believe that the import rules will change yet. T1 have 2 korean players and xeta could technically count as north american now. For now, they could only bring 2 players
they're 99% applying for both, if they somehow get accepted to NA, then they would take it for viewership and rivalries probably, but they're probably still going to the european league

WHY SPLIT?
We expect some of you to wish we chose another map, but we promise we are not picking on Split.
We looked at a bunch of different factors when making this decision. Player sentiment, time since release, past and future planned updates, what the map brings in terms of strategic variance, as well as where Pearl fits into all of it (to name a few).
When we plugged all those numbers into the magic algorithm machine, we landed on Split. We’re pretty sure it will be back sometime in the future though. Maybe even with some tweaks?

8 maps is an awkward number for pro teams and may be too overwhelming for normal players too, I guess they removed split because it's one of the oldest maps and also because it's sh*t

I think your suggested blaze wall changes would be too much, It would be too close to a controller position, you could have a extra viper wall with smaller duration for quick site hits / retakes
