DRX/Vs are the first Asian threat in valorant. They had a slight downturn as teams like ZETA and PRX stepped up. Now at the biggest event of the year they again stand up as the last hope for Asian success. Wishing them the best.

EMEA sucking on pearl is what will probably give NA the edge this event. All three NA teams look pretty good on Pearl.

People forget that Gambit lost to 100T and was really shaky vs CR, but hit their form in playoff and won.

Acend had a shaky start (VK should have won if they didn’t use Camera). They ended up winning the tournament.

Optic literally lost their opening match vs XERXIA and Guild but placed 1st/3rd.

What matters the most is to be inform for the knock-out portion of the tournament.

Some teams just start shaky. EMEA fans just gotta hope they pull through this time.

I think you are underrating XSET. XIA losing to Northeption kind of lowered their stock for me.

Why spend resource on world building on a 12 episode anime with no source material when you can just spend the same resource on creating characters that could carry the show.

Yea but it’s an anime original so it would be difficult to predict how well the anime would do. Better to flesh out characters that could lead to higher dvd sales. World building would mean less if the anime never became popular.

I currently put them around Leviatan. Capable of beating teams and playing close in a loss. Keeping my expectations low for now because Group A is not easy. If they can get out of groups I think top four is easily doable.
