I play once I get home, but even after not playing for around 6 months my aim usually comes back after a few days.

hahaha. its okay bro. felt like yesterday I was just 20 and now I'm 28. Time flies so fast in your 20's, close your eyes for what feels like 3 mins and when you check your clock, 15 mins has passed like wtf man.

Oh yeah studied the wrong course, finished the wrong degree, and now working as an engineer on a ship. I dont like my job, but I learned how to accept and just drag myself through it. If I could rewind my life though I would redo my choice of profession. I finished marine engineering. Im 28 now btw

Also ask your friend about his thought process during clutches you encounter and how he would've handled it. This is a very big part of climbing through sheer aim and gamesense

it goes like that sometimes, but trust me you have gotten better if you reached a new peak, you may not feel it though. So what i mean is be confident

And just remember

1. to not play rank when you are tilted (i was so down the rabbit hole, dropped from asc3 to dia3 in 2 days. before coming back up again)
2. have fun and always think of what you can do in a given situation, cuz teammates are random. just do your best and dont overthink your losses
3. take breaks in between games just to keep your mental level in top condition (either play alt or unrated after a few ranks if you still want to play)

dia 2-3 should be a breeze for you next reset, and real climb starts on dia3-asc1 again. (probably)

Edited: you will be playing with former ascendants as well during the first few weeks. So dia will feel hard for a while but just know though that you are playing with mostly ex ascendants
