This is so amazing. As a black man I rarely see us in eSports so I'm HELLA proud of Dre after that 100T situation. Looked like his eSports career was looking sheisty but he kept grinding and look at him now. So proud man. Not just a PUBG player.

LMFAOOOO YOURE ACTUALLY AN IDIOT LMFAOOOO DAWG I COME BACK TO THIS AFTER TWO WEEKS AND WISH I SAW THIS SOONER. Man thought I was tryna be smart by saying ROI as if that isn't an easier and widely understood way of typing PROFIT. You're a child.

Its actually so telling of someones' level of intelligence when they repeatedly respond erratically to actual points with more and more gaslighting and rhetorical questions without actually legitimizing their own points, then proceeding to insult the person they're talking to. Typical low IQ insult, to say someone else has a low IQ because you can't string logical CBA and ROI incentives together, or because you got defensive when you got called out for looking like an ass. Like you're using your own confusion as a way to say that what I was saying doesn't make sense, when you legitimately just cant string sentences together properly. Reading comprehension folks. What a logical fallacy here. Imagine asking me to type properly when your entire paragraph is riddled with errors on every level of basic English. You still completely failed to understand what I was saying about risk and longevity. You still don't know the difference between an investor and a shareholder. You somehow misinterpreted what I said about shareholders and are now saying that I said that YOU said they do a shitty job??? What???? Anyway, Serenity clearly proved they aren't some Tier 5 org. Who is even talking about "Matching CSGO"??? My point was and still is that shareholders would not let EG and other "salaried rosters" even come into fruition without some form of ROI planned. And this man is still somehow confused when we're talking about shareholder metrics. Why in gods name would a shareholder be looking at PRIZE POOLS for a scene to determine their level of involvement? LOL OF COURSE IM TALKING ABOUT VIEWERSHIP. That is not a metric we are looking at idk why tf you're confused. Wait I know why. Lmfao. This means that there is intention for stability and longevity when sponsors and shareholders are involved, which is always clearly known depending on the org. You were very excited to shit on a new roster's results, period. You were visibly excited to see this scene fail, period. This is an objective observation. And it was apparent to everyone in this thread, not just me wildly misinterpreting you. So you're still the odd one out here. Have a nice life. Sike. Fuck off loser.

Mhm yea. You're clueless. I very clearly said comparative scale. If you don't understand what that means then there's absolutely no point. "Shareholders don't produce marketing power" Who is talking about marketing power when I was talking about investments and salaries??? I directly explained why shareholders would or would not decide to agree with an org's idea to invest into a new eSport and the implications for the longevity of player/coaching staff salaries. Where are you? Lmfao. And you still missed more than half your original points. Enjoy your pessimism lmao this isn't worth it anymore.

@bastsoboazf Imagine sitting here, rubbing your hands in excitement like birdman using the exact wording saying you "can't wait" for a scene to implode. Considering that these many salaried teams are investing in Valorant when there aren't even any LANs yet is amazing, especially amidst a pandemic. Not only that, esports is changing, with many rosters prioritizing their players streaming alongside pro play, having a branded personality etc. I didn't misinterpret your comment. Maybe your intentions, but not your comment. You literally said you cannot wait, and I just explained to you what happens when a scene implodes. People lose jobs and dreams are crushed. Being excited for that type of thing isn't something I'd partake in at all. Personally, I'd rather believe that orgs who've invested thousands upon thousands into these salaries have a better type of ROI plan than some guy on the internet. I mean, I surely wouldn't invest money into an org who doesn't know whether or not their involvement in an eSport will be profitable in some way. Most of these orgs are primarily funded by sponsors and shareholders. There's just no way. And I'm not going to sit here and shit on EG for wanting to expand their eSports franchise either. Especially in such a groundbreaking way with this mixed team. Comparing an FPS to a MOBA is just.... Lol. CSGO has way many more random salaried teams in EU and NA. Scene's fine, Valorant is just as popular. Don't agree about popularity factor due to playercount? That's not the metric shareholders are looking at. Valorant tourneys still almost match CSGO tourneys, only short by a couple thousand depending on comparative scale. You may not know what I'm talking about but I sure do. It is a hyper negative narrative and your excitement proves it. The moment this new team loses with little to no practice together, you're jumpin in these comments saying they've already lost to randoms. SRN just signed a new roster who've they've practiced with for longer too. SRN could easily be tier 1 potential now depending on their performance today but this isn't how you want to see things.

"cant wait for hundreds of aspiring esports personalities and professionals to lose their jobs and dreams so i can be right about this hyper negative narrative im trying to paint about this upcoming esports scene"

i get what ur saying.... its kinda boring to watch compared to cs honestly. not sure what it is either, but i still find a way to enjoy it... andbox and absolute jupiter are really the only teams that have ever really had me excited to watch. maybe u just gotta find a team u like. or get into betting.

I'm not one to shit on young kids dreams of being pro but this Liquid roster has not performed. Maybe those 3 need to get picked up by a T2 team and work their way back up because they choked under pressure on several occasions. There's deadly EU talent out there vying for a shot... Scream needs a chiropractor after that series. Just sad. Kryptixx is the only one that I feel was really trying to tie things together while Scream was treating the game like a DM server.
