This reminds me of that TikTok thing where a person will say "remember these 5 dates" or something and then proceed to spew bullshit for 30 seconds

Gen.G vs SEN about to go crazy

posted 1 month ago

They tend to ban jett maps (Breeze, Icebox, Ascent) more often, and Cryo was a sova main. It helped that he could play chamber and Zekken could flex onto another duelist, thats probably a reason why XSET was so good during Chamber meta.

I think so but they need to 2-0 KOI and have KOI 2-0 KC and then go to round differential

posted 1 month ago

I'd think so, even if they did it would be interesting to see what they do, I think they would favor EG because they are the highest seed from Americas based off last years performance.

posted 1 month ago

I think round/map differential may have something to do with it as well. In Pacific, PRX and GENG were already separate, but DRX may have gotten the play-in team because they had a better map differential (4-0) than T1(4-1).

Giants don't get him

ID, this would create a lot of role conflict. Destrian looks way better on initiator and Souhcni also plays initiator. I would rather have Nivera bc he can play Omen and Viper.

VIT ScreaM plz

He already recovered when he dropped 29 on fracture

Especially after Boostio's comments it would be hilarious

Guess you're dying then.

Sadge for EDG, can't see them beating NRG or NAVI.

FLUKES
Acend Champions 2021: Had a relatively easy group and got helped by VK using exploit, they also fell off after tourney ended
DEBATABLE
SEN Reykjavik 2021: No one knew how to play the game yet, and they also did fall off afterward, but not to the extent of Acend
FNC LOCK//IN 2023: Mainly because of the format, they still looked dominant in every game except the final, as they did not drop a map until they played LOUD
OPTC Reykjavik 2022: This one is the closest to a real win, and the only arguements for this not being a legit win is because FPX couldn't attend and FNC was missing Derke, however, I think the win is valid because tehy placed 3rd and 2nd in Copenhagen and Champs.
REAL WINS
GMB Berlin 2021: This team was incredible in this tournament, and they followed it up with 2nd place at champs.
FPX Copenhagen 2022: This showed the potential of FPX that missed Reykjavik, especially after having to play with a sub for the first half of the tourney and then making the lower bracket run. Also placed 4th in Champs, so it wasn't a one time thing.
LOUD Champions 2022: LOUD bounced back from bombing out in Copenhagen, but they rightfully fought their way to the crown as they didn't lose a game in playoffs. This also proved that their 2nd place at Reykjavik was not a fluke, and their last place in Copenhagen was likely because they were placed in the group of death because KRU beat NIP.

ggwp, banger match, Sayf's a monster. Happy with the way Vitality played today, hope both of these teams can go to Tokyo.

Agreed, with an org as big as 100T you'd expect they would hire an assistant coach or an analyst at least.

Bren says the same thing all the time. I like Sideshow, but you can replace Bren with a soundboard and I wouldn't notice a difference. Panpoc clears easily.

Russ primarily played Sage and KAY/O, which Twisten can play, though probably not to as high of a level as his Jett/Raze. Apparently Twisten couldn't play with Guild bc of a conflict of interest with BIG so Guild had to get Yacine. Also rito notified Guild really late so they had almost no prac time together.

They have 2nd place curse from losing to FUT in VCL last year, so not they can't beat a team with a Turkish player.

posted 11 months ago

ggs, they put up a good fight but they still can't beat a team with a Turkish player.

Ascent- NAVI
Bind- NRG/FNC
Breeze- LOUD
Fracture- DRX
Haven- FNC
Icebox- FNC

They've stopped trolling their agents by now, should finish strong, especially with bind back.

KC > KOI > NAVI

KC 2nd in EMEA

Give him the ability to choose when to drop his cages kinda like a viper orb so it has to stay up for a second or to. Its probably not enough to even out him and killjoy, but it could help him be better in some situations.

Their val team might be pissing me off, but at least their looking good in cs.

Their Ascent defense is incredible

gg to FUT. Definitely the better team today.

No one's ever played it on Fracture, because Sova is terrible on Fracture. I don't know wtf EG are doing.

  • Keep 32 teams, having teams from China was a great idea, especially since EDG showed they can compete with top teams.
  • Keep the two different brackets, but make both a 16 team swiss stage( 5 Americas, 5 EMEA, and 5 Pacific with 1Chinese team) where top 8 teams advance. BO1 for normal games, BO3 for elimination or advancement.
  • The top 8 teams from each bracket move to another 16 team swiss stage with the same rules.
  • From there, the top 8 teams will qualify for single elim bracket with seeding based on how they placed in the second swiss stage (BO5 semis and finals).

I pretty much used what CS:GO does for most of their LANs just made one more swiss stage. This format would ensure that teams would get second and third chances and that no superteam (FNC, SEN, C9, PRX) would be out of the whole tournament if they lost one game. This would also fit in the timeframe of one month because of the BO1 swiss stage games.

in team A we have PRX a team in which players are doing videos instead of scrimming and practising

benkai going to rank teams with platchat when he should be scrimming.

Hmmm

idk for sure but I think since they picked up ban they have three Korean Players so they have to move there and can't play in NA anymore.

Clarifications:

  • Assuming same group format from champions last year
  • Masters Berlin Winners= EA LCQ
  • BR Circuit Points #2= LATAM/BR LCQ #2

Group A:
FunPlus Phoenix(EMEA #1) vs. FURIA(LATAM/BR LCQ #2)
XSET(NA #2) vs. Paper Rex(APAC #1)

Group B:
Leviatán(LATAM #1) vs. Team Liquid(EMEA LCQ)
OpTic Gaming(NA #1) vs. KRÜ Esports (LATAM/BR LCQ #1)

Group C:
EDward Gaming(EA LCQ) vs. XERXIA Esports(APAC #2)
LOUD(BR #1) vs. ZETA DIVISION(JP #1)

Group D:
DRX(KR #1) vs. Boom Esports(APAC LCQ)
FNATIC(EMEA #2) vs 100 Thieves(NA LCQ)

Final Thoughts:

  • Technically Gambit would have been EMEA #1 so that's where FPX should be but I was lazy and didn't want to complicate this too much
  • Probably not going to be the format but I just think it would be cool to get an idea of what might happen
  • I'm new to this site, so please excuse any errors in the format
